I think that the Sadie’s are an extremely underrated band. They played their hearts out for 90 minutes and had the crowd really going. Great musicians and the songs were loaded with catchy hooks. I had a fantastic time.
Having never seen the Sadies before I didn't know what to expect. I have to say the Good brothers must be the best guitar duo on the planet. I love their idiosyncratic countryesque stylings. Unfortunately there were so few people in the audience. I think the earlier audience was there -- inexplicably in my opinion -- for the second band in the lineup. Too bad for those that didn't wait for the headliners. Great show and now I'm a fan.
One of our first shows at the New Ironwood, this was a fantastic experience! We had a bonus, with The Sadies playing a half-hour gig early on, before the actual show began. Nice warm-up. I had just received their new CD that afternoon, and played it on the way to the show. The opening act was engaging; Pack A.D. was interesting, and The Sadies were awesome!
