Don’t get me wrong I love rocky horror I literally have a portrait tattoo of dr frank n furter on my leg. But this show was so disorganized. I was with my partner who has been to several way cheaper rocky horror show renditions. I thought this was going to be a fun a legit experience since they had Barry there and at the mehalia Jackson. Dead wrong, huge waste of almost a $150. I would rather just watch the movie at home instead of having everyone screaming and drunk. You can easily spend $20 at a really drag show/rocky performance or even a play rendition. All they had was the movie playing with the audio not even matching up! The little amount of actors they did have onstage just lip synced and didn’t look they they knew what they were doing. This experience was absolutely the worst, it puts me off to ever go to any! Any! Rocky horror show ever again. I feel like I got robbed, it killed my whole night!
Very entertaining and the crowd was fantastic, energized and engaging. The negatives were that a better projector could have been used (subtitles maybe) and the sound was really low.
We were really excited to see Rocky Horror come to New Orleans thinking it would be a fun Saturday before Halloween. What a disappointment!! The sound quality of the movie was so distorted it could hardly be understood. OMG was this supposed to be satire?!? The cast, especially Rocky, barely new the lines, maybe a song or two and a grunt here and there. Honestly the cast looked like they had no desire to be performing. It was a nightmare you couldn't wake up from.
Sound was bad and cast should have been much better. There were people in the costume contest with better costumes it was a bit disappointing
The Tennessee Theater is my favorite place in Tennessee. I was super excited and the show wasn't bad but less than perfect. The sound was too loud which distorted it a bit and some dialog wasn't able to be heard. I'm a first timer so that was a bummer for me.
The location was amazing. Tennessee Theater cannot be described in words...it is amazingly beautiful! The preshow was great but I thought there would be dedicated or volunteers to act out the show at the front of the theater. The sound seemed to be too loud as there was frequent crackling in the speakers when loud things occurred. However, Rocky Horror Picture Show is a timeless production that should be an annual event for open minded people. Let's make next year even better!
This was our first time seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show at Maryland Theatre and it was fantastic! We are already planning to attend next year!
We had fun. Wish the in person cast would have been up on the stage and they definitely Need more actors. Sound was up too loud and muffled and no prompts in when to take what props out. Hard to follow that when most of the props aren't part of the original prop line up. Crowd participants we a 10/10. Host participants 5/10. We had fun but for them doing it 15 years should have been better. Slight tweaking would make it a 9/10
I love Rocky Horror Picture Show. One of my favorite movies and soundtrack. I thought the actors performing in front of the screen were distracting. It would’ve been better if they had performed on the floor and not on stage or perhaps not at all.
Had lots of fun. The actors seemed, for a good number of them, very tired and lacked energy. I am still very glad that I went.
This was such a fun event! Loved the performance the meet and greet and seeing the rocky horror picture show at such a classy place was just the cherry on top! Hope it runs again next year!!
I had such an amazing experience. I haven’t been to a live rocky horror movie/show in years and this was an amazing event! I was a bit let down that they didn’t have a full cast of live performers, however it was still an amazing experience!
So much fun! Great time :) the cast did a great job and the audience was really into it. Definitely will do again next year!
Rocky Horror Picture Show is one of my favorite events. I look forward to seeing it every year! Everybody does a great job!
I love going to the KOA Rocky Horror Picture Show! This year our youngest, he's 13, went and he had a blast! My husband and son dressed up and came home smiling! Thank you again for an awesome night!
We all had a great time. The actors were wonderful. It is a nice thing to do with the family and lots of fun.
This show was fantastic! The actors, hosts, and performances and props were all so much fun! Our audience unfortunately had one over the top vulgar female fan who yelled obscenities the ENTIRE show. The show is raunchy fun and super interactive, but this woman was just too crude and yelled nonstop every few seconds at the top of her lungs. She was all you could hear most of the time. Everyone around us was equally annoyed and we heard people complaining from the elevator to the parking garage about her. Besides that- this show was 10/10 and everyone did an amazing job! I would love to see again (minus the attention seeker!)
It was clearly very low budget and clearly not the best “actors”. Half the time the guy working the audience had to run up and tell the “actors” what to do like to pull the sheet tighter in the shadow scenes. Had to run up and tell them to turn lights off during other scenes. Tickets were way too expensive for this poorly put together rendition. I saw a much better one in my little home town where the actors actually sang and actually vocalized the words. This was just lip synching to a movie, it shouldn’t take much skill but clearly the group didn’t have enough to make this right as many seemed to forget the words spoken through the movie.
Enjoyed the show, the crowd participation. The shadow players. Greg. The bag of props And the chat with Patricia was super charming All around great experience
