The Ready Set was a little Less Than Alive

by CakeShep on 9/8/13The Nile - Mesa

I guess this is more a review of the Meet and Greet than the actual show; the performance is what bumped it to two stars instead of one. I paid fifty dollars just to say hi to Jordan, and he was rude and attitudinal. He did formal hellos and pictures with me and the four other girls there, then after about five minutes literally said, "Well, I'm gonna go... don't know where but see ya." I was so upset and disappointed. This was my third time meeting him and he was never this terrible. The actual performance was alright. Definitely less energy than I expected from him and he didn't play anything special, just the hits. I really had hoped for more at this show.

    Awesome Energy!

by DGeist on 3/9/13House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

I took my 14 year old daughter, not expecting to enjoy the show also. Everyone was amazing! Kelsi Luck, Goldhouse, 2am Club and The Ready set... Great Energy... Fun and talented. I wish them all the best of luck in their future. My daughter met and took pictures with everyone afterwards , which was very cool. The house of blues is a great place because its not huge so u pretty much have a great view anywhere and the sound was amazing. I'm Definitly a new fan and excited to see them again.

Great show! Staff was friendly and on top of things. Bands/performances were crowd pleasing and energetic! Also, I may be biased because The Ready Set is my all time fave. No complaints.

The Ready Set had a show like woah

by YeahILikeStuff on 2/18/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Outasight came first and he did a really good job. I was mostly there for Jordan, though. The Ready Set was top notch. All of the instruments were live and Jordan sounded just like he does on his albums. Do not believe people who say his voice is higher in concert. Jordan was so energetic on stage, hopping up on tables and jumping in circles. He got really sweaty by the end of his 13 song set. He really tried to touch all of his fans, too. This was a smaller venue (about 300), so it was a really nice, close, and personal experience. If you are a big Jordan fan, buy the VIP upgrade, but if not then it's not really worth the money. He was late to the meet and greet because of traffic, so it did not feel as special as it could have. also, the general admissions were let in during the VIP session, so they filled up the spots by the stage and VIPs had to stand in the back. I still loved meeting him <3

    Ready Set was amazing!

by Anonymous on 2/18/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

My daughter and her friend went to the show, they loved the smallness of the venue and were actually able to meet Jordan after the concert. It will always be a night for her to remember.

Ready set could have played longer

by Mumzalator on 2/17/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Show was great but Jordan announced that he wasn't going to do any encore songs but would come back to meet people. So no extra songs (played for 45 min) AND he never come back out. Very disappointed! I hate when artist don't do what they say, good way to loose a fan.

    The Ready Set was amazing!!

by JonMidnight on 2/17/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

The Ready Set show in Boston the other night was amazing. Jordan was full of energy and put on a great show. He interacted with the crowd and his sound live was clear and loud. He performed all his great songs. I love how he started with Love Like Woe. The opening acts were all good as well and Outtasight was very good as well.

Ready Set and Downtown Fiction were Awesome

    by David42 on 11/29/11Chameleon Club - Lancaster

Once again, The Ready Set and Downtown Fiction were awesome. Summer Set was a "No Show", with no reason given. There was a band that opened called "Pushing Daisies" (I think that was their name). They were made up of two guys and two girls and were pretty good. I have never heard of them, however, if I could figure out their name, I would buy their album. There was another band called "Plug in Stereo". To put it gently, they were not my taste. They deflated the energy from the audience that the first band pumped up and were easily forgotten once the Downtown Fiction came on. They were in no way a good fit with the other bands that were playing. As for the venue; It was certainly one of the smaller venues, I have been too. However, it was a nice place and beverages were inexpensive and HVAC was good. Parking was also close and easy to get in and out from. If they want to consider something, they should consider an adult seating area, like most clubs. This would have been great for parents, chaperoning their kids. Parents should know up front, they will be standing the entire concert. Don't expect seating. Again though, the venue was easy to get in and out from, so it was all good in the end...

    Love that Jordan!

    by NS12 on 11/28/11Chameleon Club - Lancaster

The Ready Set and Plug In Stereo and The Downtown Fiction were especially absolutely amazing!!!! The Chameleon Club was ok. This was an all ages show and on the upper levels if you weren't in the front row you couldn't see the band at all. There were good sight lines on the main floor, which was packed. Many surfaces (floors and hand rails) were sticky from spilled stuff. There is a very nice deck outside where you can sit down - only over 21s allowed.

    Great music

    by twoods70 on 11/28/11Chameleon Club - Lancaster

Great concert - music was fantastic! Didn't like the general admission - my daughter and friend are 12 so they were pushed out of the way and to the back by the older crowd and couldn't see very well.

The Feel Good Now tour, made me feel good!

by thecarolineset on 11/26/11Northern Lights - Clifton Park

The openers did a great job pumping the crowd up, The Summer Switch was a band i've never heard of but they did a great job of impressing me. The Downtown Fiction was next, this was my 4th time seeing these boys and they never fail to impress me. I did notice they had some kind of technical difficulties because the bass player was on and off stage talking to someone. The Summer Set was up next, it took forever for them to get set up because they had technical difficulties too. They ended up having to do an acoustic set, which really upset me because they are such an up beat band, but it was beautiful nonetheless. Ah! Last but not least, The Ready Set. The amount of time and energy this kid put into his set is amazing. I was dancing the entire time. The entire show was great, nothing I love more than some good bands playing music real loud.

    Warped Tour 2011 Az

by KK19 on 8/30/11Ashley Home Pavillion - Phoenix

The Ready Set has been my favorite band since 2008, they have amazing talent and not to mention Jordan has a unbelievable voice! When I found out they were going to Warped Tour 2011 I was so excited! I bought my ticket right away and was anticipating the day, and finally it came! And, on my way to Warped Tour my car overheated!!!! I guess that is what I get for living in Arizona, by the time I got everything fixed and got to Warped Tour The Ready Set had JUST finished their last song and were leaving! All of my friends who got there before came over and told me how amazing The Ready Set was and how awesome the concert was. I was so bummed for the rest of the day, I really hope you guys come back to Az soon! Because I would love to come watch you guys, since I missed the last concert!

    The Ready Set concert

by RiskyBusinessCN on 4/27/11Newport Music Hall - Columbus

I traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to see this show. First of all, We Are The In Crowd and The Downtown Fiction were AMAZING! I'm a huge fan of both of those bands now! Second of all, I went primarily to see Allstar Weekend, and they did not disappoint. They were at their best. The Ready Set was awesome. I wasn't a fan before, but I totally am now! Great show!

Slightly inappropriate for the teen set!

    by Anonymous on 4/7/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - Milwaukee

While it was billed as an all ages show - I brought 6 13 year girls - the comments and actions of the bands were not "all ages". The In Crowd's lead singer's comments after another band member shot a water gun - "That is the only way he can get girls wet - yes - pun intended" combined with the numerous time we heard the "F" word - along with the "mini-striptease act" of the Downtown Weekend lead singer - was really not appropriate for all ages crowd with probably an average age of 16. Downtown Weekend sounded great - they really didn't need to go in that direction to get attention. As our girls were really interested in All Star weekend - who did sound great - it was still a good show. If it was an adult show - none of this would have bothered me in the least but I just thought that they didn't need to go in the direction they did with all the teenagers in the crowd.

    The Downtown Fiction!!

by AlexTDF on 4/2/11Roxy Theatre - West Hollywood

I went to ALL of the California Glamour Kills tour show dates, and each and every one was absolutely amazing! I would have went to the whole tour if I could have! The Downtown Fiction is my #1 band. I went to the show mainly for them. But We Are The In Crowd and The Ready Set were so great! I loved it so much. Great tour, great show, phenomenal bands!! I recommend it 100%.

The Ready Set was AMAZING!! Unfortunately I got lost on the way to the show so I didn't get to see You Me And Everyone We Know or We Are The In Crowd but I did see The Downtown Fiction and Allstar Weekend. The Dowtown Fiction sounded good but the lead singer stripping down a little was a little much. Allstar weekend was an overall disappointment.
