The Postal Service Tickets

The LC Pavilion was pretty easy to walk to from a nearby hotel; I wouldn't recommend parking near it for a concert because our friends waited for over an hour just to get out of the parking garage. The venue was pretty nice, because there was a good view from just about everywhere, but I'm 5'11"; our friend is very short and did not enjoy the pit area. We eventually moved up to the far side of the lawn so she could see and so that drunk people would stop rubbing up against us. The Postal Service were fantastic, of course, but how hard is it to hit "play" on a digital track and sing along? Still, added instrumentation, some minor variations to the songs, and the inclusion of B-sides and new tracks added a lot to the experience. The sound was surprisingly good! I don't know how it would be for a rock concert, but even without earplugs (like I normally wear), the whole thing sounded great.

The show was incredible. For only having one album it has to be difficult to put together an entire show but they knocked it out of the park. Energy, sound, lights, and overall atmosphere was perfect. Can't wait to see them live in another ten years! Haha

Great venue. Music sounded good, but concert was boring. This genre of music didn't work well for me live.

I was wishing it never ended!! Hoping I don't have to wait another 10 years to see them again!!

I drove 3 1/2 hours to go see the Postal Service. After waiting ten years to see them, it was totally worth it. If they ever tour again, I'm going back.

The postal service show was the best I've ever been to. I've been to TONS of shows and this one wasn't overly exposed. No big bangs or anything like that just a plain and simple show. And OMG Jenny Lewis!

I've spent many years waiting for the postal service to come around so I can finally see them. Maybe my expectations were a little high, or maybe the environment was a little weak, but the whole show was a little....BLAH. Cool stage set, songs sounded great, outdoor venue, far too many people. The crowd was just full of college kids standing and doing the typical head bob. Also overheard a lot of "Did you know the lead singer of this band is also in death cab for cutie". Which as a fan....is HIGHLY obnoxious....how can you say you like The Postal Service and NOT KNOW Ben is in Death Cab? The stage show lacks some energy, I was expecting a solid dance party. That didn't happen.

Loved the entire show. My only critique is; it was the fastest show I have been to, but with limited material that was to be expected. Besides that, amazing!

After waiting 10 years to finally see Postal Service, I am completely satisfied in so many ways. Ben Gibbard was humble and the band was entertaining; every song was perfectly audible. But what made me the happiest was the nostalgia I felt after hearing them play every song off Give Up, live, right in front of me.

The Postal Service was on point, Ben and Jenny had great chemistry, and the crowd had a blast--the stadium turned into a club-esque atmosphere when the bass dropped in all the songs. Unforgettable!

Yes, I'm sure someone else will use the same pun, but it's true! This was a GREAT show. It was amazing to see one of my favorite albums come to life, and it was evident the artists were excited to perform for an adoring crowd. The venue was perfect. The acoustics were amazing and really amplified the band's awesome sound. If I lived in Columbus I'd be a regular at the LC!

It was probably the best show that I have ever seen. I've gone to many a show but not one beat the Postal Service. Ben Gibbard and Jenny Lewis make an adorable couple when the sing together an Jimmy seemed to be a really cool guy. They get the crowed moving and make the show fun. They give you everything you want an more. It was breathtaking.

Was so excited to have opportunity to see Postal Service in concert. The LC Pavilion in Columbus,Ohio was perfect venue. Weather was great. They performed all their songs and the crowd sang along. Was a sold out concert and well worth the four month wait after purchasing tickets. Take advantage folks...go hear this unique group. Only thing that would have improved experience would have been the LC Pavilion banning cigarette smoking!!! One thing I noticed was the range in age groups and the crowd behaved...kudos all!!! I go to approximately four concerts a year and really appreciate when a group or solo act looks like they are having fun as well. I traveled almost 6 hours from central Illinois and would do it again...

The best concert ever by a band that only has one album. Ben Gibbard and Jenny Lewis were fantastic!

I waited 10 years to see The Postal Service and it was beyond worth the wait! Ben and Jenny have amazing stage chemistry. This was by far the best concert I have been to. The LC is a great venue.
