It was a good show. VERY POOR ACUSTIC

by Ana. on 3/27/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

We were at the show celebrating my birthday. We had good seats, but the acoustic was very poor. You need to fix this issue, I understand that it has been going on for a long time.

    Knee slapping comedy

by Chris on 3/27/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

From the moment the "Stage Crew" comes out and interacts with the audience, under the guise of putting the last pieces in place before the start of the show, "The Play That Goes Wrong" is off and running on a whirlwind tour of everything that can go wrong, albeit greatly exaggerated, with a production. There is not a weak performance in this cast. Each member gets their chance to stand out and they take full advantage of the opportunity. Even the scenery gets in on the act, culminating with literally bringing down the house in the final scene.

    Funny Show

    by K. M. on 3/27/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

Hilarious! Laughed a lot. Glad that I was able to see the show. The tickets were a gift; otherwise, not having been familiar with the show, I might not have bothered to purchase tickets on my own.

    Hilarity around every corner

by paweathers on 3/26/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

Even before the start of the show, the cast begins to engage the audience in what proves to be the baseline plot of the entire evening. One slapstick event after another with a "who done it?" story line creates an enjoyable evening of laughs. Well done!

    very funny

English play using English humor. A lot of physical comedy. If this is your thing you will love it. It could not have been done better

Well-written Play that truly went wrong

by Picky on 3/26/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

Unfairly, we saw this play in London a few years ago and hurt ourselves laughing. Impossible not to compare, but the Grady Gammage version was, in a word, "disappointing". Still some good laughs, for fairness, but the lack of comedic timing by the cast or the director was so extreme that I was embarrassed to have brought my guests to the event. The most frequent shortcoming was their not knowing when to stop their pauses for effect, with the result that they drug out nearly every time.

    Absolutely great

by Duffy on 3/26/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

This was the funniest play I have ever seen. It was 2 hours of non-stop laughter. Something else that made it even better was the hearing assist device that the theater made available for use with my own earphones. That was wonderful and it allowed me to hear and understand virtually 100% of the dialogue.

    better than expected

by Sharona on 3/26/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

Since we had no idea what the play was about, we were pleased that is was so funny. It had overtones of Monty Python and the actors seemed to truly enjoy themselves. Delightful to watch

    Side-splitting fun

    by I. K. on 3/26/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

I have seen NOISES OFF which at the time I thought was the funniest play ever. No longer. This play is hysterical and is fun from beginning to end. When and if it returns we will see it again

    Buffoonary

by From Marana on 3/25/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

The theatre itself was very nice. However, the show was itter stupidity! We actually left about 10 minutes into the second half because the show was just a bunch of poorly acted slapstick that only a grade school chold would have found funny.

    Hilarious for All Ages

    by c. k. on 3/25/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

The play was fabulous. Non-stop laughs, intelligent humor, not all pratfalls. No coarse language so everyone will enjoy it. I am going back to see it the next time it is at Gammage or Orpheum. Genius actors. Ned Noyes was brilliant.

    Don't miss this one.

by AZ Broadway on 3/25/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

Don't go expecting a Broadway musical production, but this play is off the charts! My wife laughed so hard she was crying. I gave her the option of going to a comedy club or this play. We laughed harder at this show than we would have at the club. Kudos to all of the actors.

    Best ever!

    by G. P. on 3/23/19ASU Gammage - Tempe

The pre-play antics were the perfect way to start the evening. The play never lacked for excitement and much laughter. Considering seeing again as it is the best play I’ve ever seen. Kudos to that write and of course the producer who brought it all together. Richard & Lee
