Pink Floyd Laser Show Anaheim Grove

by Desiree123 on 3/10/12City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

First and foremost, The Grove in Anaheim is terrific, no bad seat in the house. Everyone is always so pleasant and can inter-act and meet great people. The 3-D Lasar Show was Brilliant! If you're a Pink Floyd lover a Must See. Attendee's of all ages... even saw a little old couple who had to be in their 90's slowly walking in together. Pink Floyd's Political views up-dated to present time. Just a warm up to the Roger Waters Concert "The Wall"

PF Laser Show - Incredible with 3D Glasses

by txfloyd on 1/31/12Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

This show is incredible as long as you purchase the 3D glasses for $2. In my opinion the glasses should be included with the ticket price. Those that did not purchase them may have a different opinion of the show. They are a must to get the full experience.

    Amazing!

by Cass1106 on 1/30/12Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

Loved the show! A little disappointed that we had to buy our own laser show glasses for the show. I would have preferred it to be included in the ticket price. I felt sorry for people who didn't have the glasses because they made a huge difference! Overall I loved the show!

Ehhh, Pink Floyd Laser Show Poorly Run

by Psily on 1/30/12Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

The showas supposed to start at 9 pm so we'd been in line since 8:30 pm but there was a Michael Jackson show that didn't let out til 9 pm. We stood in line while they cleaned the venue from the MJ show til 9:40. We didn't realize until the show was almost over that the lasers were making pictures/patterns on the wall in the back. Why would we look behind us? Oh and they charged us another $2/each for 3-D glasses that couldn't have cost more than 25 cents.

Saw this show 10 years ago, Still Lame

by GMoney6911 on 1/29/12Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

I was disappointed, saw this show 10 years ago with my son, same boring presentation. I was bored. Also, it took too long to get seated. And not to mention, we were brought in like a bunch of cattle, only one door was opened.

    Worth a watch

by Anonymous on 1/29/12Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

Nice show. They played all the good Pink Floyd stuff. The laser show was good - the video and the laser sometimes did not gel. The glasses changed the view - must have! The show started late. I had expected that everybody would be seated by 9 ( the time on the ticket) but they started allowing people in only at 9.15 and of course the show started much later. The theatre people were quite complacent about the time when we asked about it! The break was longish but it was 2 hours well spent on the whole.

Pink Floyd Laser show is HORRIBLE!!

by CastanzaGeorge on 1/29/12Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

This was my first time to see this show. I'm a fan of Pink Floyd music so decided to see the show. Tickets ran close to $40 per person. My wife and I attended. The show was scheduled to start at 9pm.the doors did not open for seating until 915pm and a huge line formed snaking throughout the convention center. They were selling beer on carts trying to get the crowd buzzed, because that was what you needed to enjoy this show apparently. After we were allowed into the theatre the show began. The show looked as if they played the Pink Floyd dvd along with a retro 80's screen saver. It was horrible. People were cheering when the circle changed colors or shapes. Really? I was thinking to myself why do people like this? I looked around and could observe most people were either drunk or high. This was a waste of money and time for me. I felt dumber for attending such crap. I waited awhile hoping it would get better, but it did not. Thank god there was an intermission. My wife and I left and did not look back.

    Bad, Unprofessional and Cheap Show

by Krishnan on 1/29/12Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

-Horrible time management, Start time was supposed to be 9 pm. They started at around 9.35 pm. -Chaotic crowd management. -The show is worth 5-10$, not more than that. -Very Amateur Laser show. Nothing, nothing special. I wish I get all my refund back and that these folks stop this show. It is very misleading that they call it 'Pink Floyd Laser Show'. Because all they do is play Pink Floyd songs and present an unspectacular show.

A lot more relaxed of any environment than was expecting. Very chill, enjoyable. Nice place to relax and listen to some awesome Pink Floyd whilst watching an entertaining light/laser show.

    Blah...

by jeejee63 on 1/23/12The Palladium Ballroom - Dallas

Great music, but you had to buy 3D glasses in addition to your ticket. And, to watch the show we had to sit on the floor which was crappy! I could have enjoyed the music at home.

    FREAKIN GREAT LASER SHOW!!

by DatWhoDatGuy on 1/16/12Chavez Theater - El Paso

If you enjoy entertainment that is "Different", than you you love this show! The first half it the complete Dark Side of the Moon album. The second half is kind like the "Best of Pink Floyd"... with the Wall and other great stuff. We sat in the lower balcony with all the other stoners! LOL... It was seeing the Rocky Horror Picture Show but a whole lot better. The lasers looked awesome right over out heads and the video on the stage was really BIG! This show is definitely for the party crowd. Not for prudes! Come lit up!

    Music = A+, Laser Show = C-

by ElizabethRK on 7/18/11DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

Of course, it was amazing to hear the music of Pink Floyd played so loudly in a concert type setting. But I have to admit I was expecting so much more of the laser show! The images played on the projector looked like a Windows 93 screensaver. The lasers seemed most of the time to extend only about 1/3 of the way into the pavilion. There were times when they did extend out to the lawn, so I know it was possible, why didn't they get crazy with the lasers? Was this the same Pink Floyd laser show from the 70s? It was very cheesy and predictable... for example, during a guitar solo there would be an image of a guitar spinning around up on the screen. Overall, it was still fun due to the company I was with (and because we had a good time making fun of the show) and I don't feel like it was a waste of $15, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

    Great when dark

by Gilmourbestever on 7/18/11DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

I went to this event last year and thought it was great, so we went again this year. It started so early that half of the show was done before it was dark. You can not even see the lasers when it is not dark, ruined half of the songs! So the second half was great but the first half with most of the popular top songs was horrible. Don't do the event on a week night where there is an earlier curfew.

True Floyd fans can't Miss this Laser Spectacular!

by Christy129 on 1/25/11Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

I'd heard of, but never seen this show before and I am so glad I did! I heard that in previous years the show only consisted of the full album of Dark Side of the Moon, but the 2nd half included songs from the Wall, Momentary Lapse of Reason, and Division Bell!

Pink Floyd Laser Show was Spectacular

by lifetimerockerdg on 1/23/11Lila Cockrell Theater - San Antonio

The Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular was "spectacular". The music and acoustics were outstanding. They chose the majority of their best music from their most popular albums, and even added a song from Meddle as the finale. I was even surprised to see that my favorite, Wish You Were Here, seemed to be the audience favorite also. The video was great and really put a visual to the music. The lasers were great with the glasses, but I do believe previous shows had more unique and unusual lasers, without glasses. The glasses did add a psychedelic effect to the show.
