Loved watching a movie listening to live music and picnicking at the same time!! I will do this every time. Beautiful night with a gorgeous skyline.
The staff was incredibly rude and ruined my date with my girlfriend. Very disappointing.
My wife and I were eagerly anticipating the Mann's celebration of the Eagles historic run to being Super Bowl Champions. While the Orchestra did a very good job with the music, we were disappointed with the film segment. It seemed to focus more on the NFL and their various activities and history than it did on the Eagles. We liked the old footage of the Vermeil and Reid eras but the inclusion of the NFL follies, extended interviews and other diversions made the program seem disjointed and somewhat boring. We expected a game by game build up to the ultimate victory in the Super Bowl. I'm still glad that we went but we feel that it could have been much better. I would be interested to hear if other fans felt the same way. Thank you.
This show was so cool. You almost forgot there was a live orchestra playing all the sounds and musics. They were amazing. Can’t wait to see them again.
Always a flawless performance!! Looking forward to the next one!
The Philadelphia Orchestra did a bang-up job providing the music for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban, but getting to and from the venue is a free-for-all mess.
A superb evening with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Merrill Reese, and NFL Films! A nice blend of Eagles football highlights and Philadelphia Orchestra music! Well worth it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. The Eagles winning the Super Bowl was so exciting and I enjoy hearing about it in any way I can. The combination of film and music was great. The special guests, including the Lombardi trophy, were a treat. The only negative is the parking lot. It was ok getting in but horrible to get out.
We attended the Star Wars Movie event and enjoyed every minute of it. The Orchestra was amazing. There were times I almost forgot there was a live orchestra playing they were so spot on with the movie. I think the movie nights are such an innovative way to introduce people to the experience of seeing and hearing a live orchestra. The venue is beautiful and they let you bring food in with you. The only downside is that it takes forever to get out of there, they need to have people directing traffic especially at events that are well attended.
Is you are an eagles fan and missed this you should kick yourself now it was amazing Never seen so many grown men moved to tears from the passion and emotion of our season portrayed by the orchestra and Meryl Reese
The Philadelphia Orchestra is phenomenal. It was a wonderful night celebrating A Championship Season with The EAGLES! Jeff Lurie, Brandon Graham, Jason Kelce, Merrill Reese, and the Lombardi Trophy all in one night! Thank you for letting us enjoy the Super Bowl win all over again.
The Mann Center is perfect for listening to the Philly Orchestra! The sound is amazing no matter where your seat is. Highly recommend!
show was phenomenal! The orchestra and the clips were timed beautifully together. Can't wait to win another Superbowl next year and go again!
The Orchestra was phenomenal. I actually enjoyed them more than the Eagles celebration.
Enjoyed ourselves immensely at the Eagles Championship show featuring the Philly Orchestra at the Mann. Great atmosphere filled with excited, happy fans. Great music and seats!
Loved the old school nfl films music (live) over the video of the Eagles tremendous season
Nothing special. Nothing we all haven’t watched throughout the year. Just a video of replays. Music was flat— not dynamic. Plus this was a chairity event, not the White House. How disappointing that only 2 players showed up. That’s 2 not 22! Hell, most were in town as practice begins in 2 days. Food was great at the crescendo restaurant. Bar very limited.
A Championship Season was anything but. Should have been titled A Salute to Steve Sabol and NFL Films. The Mann is a wonderful venue, but this show was a major disappointment.
I thought the show was incredible...BUT....the Eagles won the superbowl. How could you not play any Rocky themed songs??? The music was timed perfectly to the NFL coverage. I only wish it felt more "local" to Philly. Bill Conti's scores from Rocky movies moves people. It encompasses everything about Philadelphia sports. I felt a little underwhelmed leaving not having heard that. Other than that, it was a nice night of music and sports.
