Sad to see whats become of a once great act.

by Scotty on 5/7/22The Paramount - Huntington

Show started 55 minutes late with no opening act. Dan Akroyd is the THE only original member left of the band and spent more than half the time off the stage. Jim Belushi did a good job but spent more time on getting people up on stage than entertaining the audience. Ive been a BB fan since 1979 and was disappointed overall in the both the song choices(only 3 from the film and 3 from the albums) and performances. Dont get me wrong, Im not unrealistic about the age of the act or any of those considerations, but after starting almost an hour late, it just went downhill from there. Im glad I have all the Albums and videos they released over the years, so I can still see and hear them as they were meant to be.

    Who doesnt love them?

    by Cmonkey on 5/2/22

To everyone expecting the soundtrack, I guess you have never listened to a Blues Brothers album. And yes I said album, like pressed into a vinyl disc that turned round and round with a needle producing the sound. I cant wait to have them come close enough for me to go see them. I am sure they will play both kinds of music. I just hope there aren't any Illinois Nazi's at the show. Signed, Love, Blues, Four Fried chickens and a Coke and some dry White Toast

The concert was absolutely amazing!! The seats we had were great and the ‘Blues Brothers’ were very interactive with the audience. Would definitely go see them again 😊

    Missed Opportunities

by Hoeser on 2/25/20The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Doors opened at 730 for a 930 performance. About 45 minutes in the opener was discovered to be a DJ spinning "classics" very badly. Completely off base for the audience and lots of complaints could be heard. The Blues Brothers were better but did not play any of the movie classics , which was disappointing. On a positive note, Jim Belushi was awesome. 3 out of 5.

    Saturday Night Blues

by D. G. on 2/25/20The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

First time in Canada in 27 years. Easy over, easy back. The Blues Brothers were most entertaining! The performers who also had a part were all outstanding. The young lady with the huge voice, incredible; the harmonica player gave his all; and one of the singers had great vocals too. Jim Belushi interacting in and with the audience was very special. Dan Ackroyd as Elwood Blues even had his first name on his fingers. All in all a fabulous night!

    Not worth the price

by S.mc on 2/25/20The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The music was amazing, the harmonica talent is superb. They started half an hour late, the blues brothers were awful. No energy, I get they aren’t suppose to have talent but they didn’t even have the energy or strength to be funny. Paid 150. American for a ticket. The value was no more than 50.

    Good, could have been better

by KH on 2/25/20The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Loved the music.....but..... Really really really wish there were more songs from the movie. There were not enough that they played that I could sing along to.

    Still Fun

by Sherrie on 2/25/20The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Such a great show, it was fast, busy, loud and so fun! The band was great and Jim Belushi and Dan Ackroyd still have it, lots of singing, dancing and the same moves on the Mission for God. Jim Belushi paid tribute to his wells of life; the man who plays Elwood on the stage and the man who played Jake, it was sweet and teary. Great show, sold out.

    Good fun!

by ALB on 2/25/20The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Lots of fun. There’s a couple songs we wanted them to sing that they didn’t, but otherwise the show was great.

Great show, Dan Belted out the classics and danced all over

by Corbin on 2/25/20The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Was concerned going in that Dan would not be as active, but was amazed to see him dancing and singing all over the place. He looked like he was having fun and enjoying himself. Loved it. Jim Belushi did sing and dance most of the time, but he was very good also. Great fun show. Just like a blues brothers review they had four other performers come onstage and sing 1 or 2 songs each. two of them were okay at best, the other two made me google their names and add them to my playlist immediately! I only wish there was a meet and greet or at least a souvineer stand, but neither was presented. Oh well, great night anyway

    Very Disappointed

by threeorangewhips on 12/5/17Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

From what was advertised, I thought this show would display more of the songs and actions from the unforgettable Blues Brothers Movies. They sang 3 songs from the movie. The rest were okay but wasn't what I thought it would be so I was very disappointed. The tickets were $100 each so it wasn't a cheap show! Dan Ackroyd didn't know many of the words to the songs and was taken off stage many times. He seemed aloof. I guess I didn't know he was in such poor state. He seems to not really care to get the audience going. Yeah I know...we're the midwest...but we still purchase tickets!! Again, very disappointed. As I spoke with others leaving the audience, I wasn't alone on these feelings. Its too bad because Beluchi and Ackroyd were a class act and many people still respect and follow them.

    One heck of a show

by Aerokii on 11/14/17Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

The show was very high energy, and had me standing, cheering, and dancing... as appropriate for the song, of course. Good variety of songs, great audience interaction, and overall probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to. If they're ever back in the state, I'd see them again in a heartbeat.
