What a wonderful Christmas show by a legendary group. We admire them for braving the weather as they journey on their tour. We wish them safe travels as the continue
I highly recommend this show for family fun! Their voices are still great, they are very entertaining, and they even had Santa show up for the kids!
The Oak Ridge Boys never disappoint. Their show was geared totally to the audience. There was more personal connecting with this show. They told stories around the fireplace of where they came from, how they came together as musicians, and some cute stories of how each of them celebrate the holidays. This show was a non-stop bunch of energy - the only break was an intermission to change sets for the Christmas portion. There was heavy emphasis on our Lord and Savior, especially since the recent terrorist happenings. I've seen their show before, and I'll see it as long as they offer themselves to us.
This is the 2nd time we have seen the OR Boys Christmas Tour. Although a couple of years apart, the show was basically the same with some tweaks. Both times it was very entertaining and enjoyable. The first half (the hits) brought back good memories and good times. The 2nd half is full of great Christmas songs, some simply amazing.
Was so great to see and have in Boise. Not a open seat anywhere.
The show was wonderful, however, the music was too loud. Made it hard to hear the words of the songs. Could be toned down a notch or two.
We had a wonderful time at the Oak Ridge Boys show. It was awesome!
During the first part of their concert, the music was too loud. Hard to hear their voices. The second half was much better. Thanks for coming to Idaho.
We would have enjoyed the concert more but the band was too loud and you really couldn't hear the singing of the songs as much as we'd have liked. It did seem about half-way through the first part they did recognize this and turned down the volumn. The second part with the Christmas songs was very uplifting and enjoyable.
The Christmas program was amazing. Loved that they shared their faith and their love for Jesus. It blessed our hearts so much.
This was the worst concert I have ever attended. The volume was so loud you could not understand any of the words to the songs. The Christmas part of the concert was the worst. Not one traditional song. I guess they did not want to offend anyone except the Christians. I will never attend another Oakridge concert.
Overall, we were very pleased with our concert experience. The Oak Ridge Boys are still fantastic and we were thrilled that they are willing to not only admit they are Christians but are proud enough of it to celebrate it with their audience! The only thing I would change was some of the audience. I am very allergic to perfumes/fragrances and we had several patrons nearby that did not heed the request to abstain from wearing perfume. This definitely affected my ability to fully enjoy the concert.
Oak Ridge Boys were fantastic! The same lineup from the 70s are still going strong as ever. Y'All Come Back Saloon and El Vira were awesome! "My Son" was a complete show stopper. Peterbilt Sleigh was so much fun. We feel like we got WAY more than we bargained for!
The show was great!!!!!! Fun, energetic, great to hear the old songs and some of the Christmas songs! Loved the kids received santa hats!
Enjoyed the concert. The band was a little too loud and was hard to understand the performers and I don't have a hearing problem. I had heard them at the Canyon County fair a few years back they were excellent. Enjoyed the Christmas section as they sang songs that you don't normally hear.
Not only did they do the "hits" but the Christmas show was so much fun. This is "comfort food" for the soul. I hope they come back to Boise again next year!!!
The Oak Ridge Boys always put on a Great Show. Can't wait till they are back in Boise
Was a relaxing concert. Not sure I would go again.
I'm not a fan of The Oak Ridge Boys - don't dislike them, but it's just not my type of music. But some friends treated my wife and me to their Christmas concert in 2013, and it was one of the best I've ever been to. Although we weren't able to go again when they were back in 2013, I would go again in a heartbeat.
