  • Amazing time travel

by Goodaysunshine on 11/18/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I was very excited to see John Lodge perform. He was delightful! I loved all of his sweet personal stories and he still sings beautifully. His band is so talented and the arrangements were great. I loved the psychedelic Timothy Leary with the effects and hearing Tuesday Afternoon live was heavenly. And of course hearing the whole “Days of Future Past” album was a great time travel. I highly recommend seeing this show:)

  • Amazing concert!

by Ronnie on 11/18/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a Moody Blues fan since they began. I have gone to at least 25 concerts. I was sceptical about how John Lodge would be on his own. I have to say, the concert was amazing! He sounded great and the back up band exceeded my expectations. If you like the Moody's, you'll like this too!

  • Good show

Although John is not quite his old self, then again who is, the show was very good. Audience was engaged and clearly enjoyed. Not sorry I went. I actually took my 30 years old son who identified some of the songs as they are incorporated into his genre of music.

Great seats, beautiful theater, excellent acoustics... wonderful show! Ticket would not open in app and that required a trip to the ticket office/window on site but all in all a great eve!

We had front row seats and the sound was incredible! We just loved it!

  • Disappointing performance

by Sam on 8/6/24Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 2 out of 5

Love the Moody Blues but poor John Lodge. Still recovering from a stroke, could barely walk, all his lead vocals were sung by someone else, could barely handle his bass. It was more like a tribute band show. Love you John, but it’s time to retire.

  • "The Rocker"Rocked!

by Don H on 8/6/24Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

John put on the solo show of his life! He has been through a lot in the last year, but delivered a fantastic show. Not only a spot on rendition of "Days of Future Passed"in it's entirety, but a great showcase of Moody Blues songs from the last fifty-five years. Shout out to Alan Hewitt, keyboardist and musical director, for pulling it all together and making it look easy. Thank you, John and the entire band for one of my greatest concert memories!!

It is hard to believe that John Lodge is still rocking after all these years. It was an amazing show. Highly recommended if you are Moody Blues fan. Days of Future Past continues to be one of my favorite albums of all time.

  • amazing show!

The show was great from start to finish. the sound was great, especially the tracks that they played from the album Days of Future past. the band was tight including a cello and the keyboard player from The Moody blues. yes singer John Davidson came out and did a few of Justin's tunes. the graphics behind the band on the big screen were phenomenal. I could not have enjoyed it anymore, and if there was a second show the following night I would have been there. I can't recommend John's show enough

  • Lodge our Favorite

by RV on 8/1/24Bardavon 1869 Opera House - PoughkeepsieRating: 5 out of 5

John Lodge is a true trooper at age 81 and having had a stroke just last Christmas .He is bursting with energy and played like he was in his 40's. What a great show and his band was also tops. I did not know what to expect but having been a Moody Blues fan for many years I would rate it along with their peak years as well worth the time to travel and attend. I wish John well in his tour and best of health going forward. Do not miss this show if you are Moody fan and try to attend even if you are not. You are in for a treat.

We had a fantastic time at John Lodge’s concert! He is a legend and a musical treasure. Can’t believe he had a stroke in December, and is right back on tour sounding perfect! He has a wonderful backing band, and have put together awesome visual effects to go with! Such beautiful music, performed perfectly in a venue with charm and great acoustics. See him if you can, you will remember it forever, as we will ❤️❤️❤️ We will always love you, John, and will never forget the experience.
