    Fantastic!

    by gothicgirl8 on 7/13/09Showbox SoDo - Seattle

I didn't care for the opening band. VooDoo Glow Skulls were amazing. I've wanted to see them for a few years. I got to shake Dicky's hand as he walked around the bar. And the Bosstones set was great! They all had matching suits. I've loved this band for 12 years. So glad I could see them finally.

    ''MORE THAN MIGHTY BOSSTONES''

by MrsHyde on 7/13/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Incredible set list... tight, fast, and hard... Mighty Mighty Bosstones threw down music and attitude like they were still playing at the Rat in Kenmore Square... took me back in mind and spirit to my youth almost two decades ago !! Good thing HOB Anaheim has great sound out on their patio, because the pit was a ''bait ball'' of sardines.... NO room to raise an arm, let alone dance! But the cool breeze and TV monitor at the bar corner on the patio, along with the awesome HOB staff.... kept this sick chick dancing throughout the entire show!! The Bosstones should consider doin' this for a living ( no more opening for the DKM's !!! )...Evil lol! COME BACK SOON........

    Bosstones were fantastic!

by sbdeliboy on 7/11/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

I've wanted to see the Mighty Mighty Bosstones for years and I feel fortunate to have seen them in such a small venue. They sounded great! I'm glad to hear they are working on a new album. I can't wait to see them again.

What a fun show... the opening bands were great as well as the Mighty Mighty Bosstones! The venue (house of blues) was fun and overall a great experience.

    Skawesome!

by EmoNick on 7/10/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

All the bands were great including the first opener "Knockout" who played a cover of "Generator" by Bad Religion along with other great originals. This was my first Voodoo Glow Skulls show and they were totally fun and amazing. The Bosstones rocked just as hard as the did when I saw them at warped tour in 2002. Very excited for their new album and the tour that will support it.

    Bosstones @ HOB

by Anabelle on 7/10/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

The Bosstones themselves were amazing. Their opening acts were decent. I was standing on the side of the pit and it was ridiculously stuffy though. I ended up having to go up to the balcony sometime near the end of the show just because it was so hot and because everyone was completely and utterly drunk and kept falling over, making it difficult to focus on the music. So, basically, the only issue I had was with how rowdy everyone was. The band themselves were spectacular. having never see the Bosstones before, I was amazed at how good they were. They played new music from their upcoming CD too, so that was a nice treat. I wish HOB allowed cameras though.

First time was a great time.

by BellaTony on 7/10/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

I loved all three bands last night. My ears are still ringing..... Besides that, I had a great time with my husband. The only thing that sucked was there was so much pushing that I had to leave the front to go to the back of the room since I'm pregnant.

Mighty Mighty Bosstones never left my heart...

by Wolffx0 on 7/10/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

What an amazing show: crowd surfing, stage diving, moshing....what more could you ask for? They even played a few songs possibly off their new album (a follow up to 2002 lol), and they were surprisingly just as good as their other 15 albums! The House of Blues, Anaheim was also great, with Bars lining possibly every wall. Mixed drinks were however, unsurprisingly priced at 8.50, but a cup of water = free.

    Bosstones ROCKED!

by JustCallMeAngel on 7/10/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

The show was incredible! Dickie and the boys were on fire. My only complaint is that some chick with a Japanese name (she didn't look Japanese...whatever) was out of control and sick all over the bathroom. YUCK!

    Great Show, but very crowded

by plysWfire on 7/10/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

The show was great. Voo Doo Glow Skulls killed it as one of the warm up acts. Sound was good. Mighty Mighty Bosstones sounded excellent, and put on a great show. The Anaheim House of Blues was a bit small for this show. I don't know how many tickets they sell, but I'm sure there were some fire reg's being broken. Everyone was packed in like sardines down on the floor during the headline act. There wasn't even enough room for a reasonable pit or dancing.
