THE MIDTOWN MEN are Tony Award Winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard, and Tony nominee J. Robert Spencer. The group’s jump-to-your-feet show features top hits from a who’s who of the ‘60s including The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Temptations, The Jackson 5, and The Four Seasons, whose story they brought to life every night as Stars in the Original Cast of Jersey Boys.
Very enjoyable and entertaining show. The Rialto is a lovely venue and it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. I love that it's small enough so there's not a bad seat in the house. I have to compliment the staff/ushers! They were all so friendly and helpful. The show itself had a mix of 60's classics and holiday music. If you don't like holiday music, this show is not for you!
I was disappointed because I thought there would be more Four Seasons music. A little to much Christmas music. Not what I expected. There was something off in the sound system. At time the voices sounded shrill to me. Overall the show was just OK for me.
We left early. We did not think they were good. Some of the singing could of been better

If you attend the Midtown Men expecting to hear Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons hits, you'll be disappointed. What we got was Christmas tunes with poor arrangements. And instead of tight harmonies, we got solos.
I had never heard of the Midtown Men until I received the email that they were coming to the Rialto. My initial hesitancy to buy tickets disappeared after seeing that they were the original cast of Jersey Boys, which I had never seen, but always wanted to! Music from the 60s and Jersey Boys? Yes, please! What fantastic performers the Midtown Men are. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the music and dancing, as well as learning the history of the group and each member's story. I can't wait until they return to Joliet!
Talented group, nice mixture of Christmas music and tunes from the sixties. Nice interpretation of the Four Seasons group.
Awesome show in a beautiful theater. I can’t wait until the Midtown Men come back.
Great show such an amazing group of talented performers the history stories and pictures were amazing and the Christmas songs were a Bonus , would definitely recommend and see it next year
Had expectations of hearing more music from Jersey Boys. Based on the exit buzz, so did everyone else. Too much video and history about the members musical journey. The packed house enjoyed the Christmas music and sing alongs. Two of the performers were visually enjoying performing, one was on stage just going through the motions, the 4th actually looked bored with the whole thing. There are better shows out there to see.
They were excellent!! We liked that they played a mix of holiday favorites along with other hits. They performed for 90 minutes. After the show we even saw one of the performers in the lobby and he was kind enough to take a picture with us. Would see them again!!
The group was high energy and the show was a lot of fun. The group gave their all and intertwined holiday classics with the music from the 60’s. To offer a balanced review. I have to say that the acoustics were a bit off and the band sometimes overshadowed the performers.
Terrible location….. just rows of chairs in a ballroom… no elevation, no staggering of chairs resulted in a very poor view for most of the audience. The sound system was also very poor. This is not a suitable location for this type of event. The Midtown Men were very disappointing. Despite emphasizing the Jersey Boy connection only a very brief medley of Jersey Boy tunes were played…this is inappropriate. The rest of the performance featured a very poor rendition of Holiday music. The singing/sound were woeful. The audience were clearly disappointed with people starting to leave less than 15 minutes into the show. By the time I left (55 minutes) I would estimate approximately 30% of the audience had left. This was by far the worst show I have seen.
The venue was horrible. The seating was a nightmare too many and too close to each other very uncomfortable. It would have been ok if the room was full of little kids. This was not set up for adults. My group (6) couldn’t wait for show to end so we could finally move and get up. This took away from us trying to enythe show. Very disappointing and we will never go to another show there.
We have seen the midtown Men at least 15 times. As the show and songs were great... The sound system was the worst bad acoustics, difficult to hear. Some of the people near us companied to each other about the sound. I will go again but not at this venue.
Great performance. great time. Sang right along to every song.
Loved the music! Very good performance by all singers. 60’s music is the best. It left you with a very upbeat feeling❤️❤️
Great Show. Staff was awesome and very helpful. We attended their previous show at the Rivers Casino . We had a great time. Bring them back again.
These guys can sing everything super good. I passed a super good night, I sang, laughed, danced. Very good ambiance. I could come back to see us lots of times again… Thank you so much guys
I enjoyed the show very much since I am a big fan of Frankie Valli and seen Jersey Boys several times. They sang other songs too that were favorites of mine from the 60's and 70's.
