About

"FOUNDED IN 2009, THE MALLETT BROTHERS BAND HAVE HAD MULTIPLE LINEUP CHANGES AND STYLISTIC SHIFTS OVER THE YEARS, BUT THEY'VE REMAINED STEADFAST IN DELIVERING HEARTFELT SONGS WITH EMOTIONAL LYRICISM, VIVID IMAGERY, AND DYNAMIC MUSICAL TONES…" - NO DEPRESSION

The Mallett Brothers Band is an independent rock and roll / Americana / country band from Maine. Their busy tour schedule since forming in 2009 has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the U.S. and beyond while still calling the state of Maine their home. With a style that ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that's influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds.

    Too pitchy too loud

Lyrics and energy was good. But volume of Fiddle and the music was tooooooo loud for such a small venue.

MBB (and their new album) just rocks!

by MaineiacDan on 4/28/15Port City Music Hall - Portland

Two great opening bands (check out Girls, Guns and Glory for some serious rockabilly) and then MBB played for two hours, including playing the new album start to finish. Just a great show from a rising band that cares about giving back to their fans!

Anyone who has not been to a Mallett Bros show is missing a truly incredible group of musicians. The energy and vibe they bring to their performance is hard to describe, and the music is phenomenal. Just go! Buy tickets and go! Whether you know every single song or none at all, you will be blown away by the show.

As always a tight awesome show by the Brothers!

by ScoutMaine on 4/1/14Port City Music Hall - Portland

The venue is great and the show was fantastic. Our only disappointment was the way too long and underwhelming opening act, can't even remember their name! Would have paid double for more Mallett Brothers!

    Mallet Brothers are fantastic!!

by SiroisN on 4/1/14Port City Music Hall - Portland

What a great night! First, I love the Mallet Brothers Band because they have such amazing energy and seem to have so much fun. The music is fun, has great vocals, harmonies and they are just plain talented. Second, we had some great seats on the side so we didn't have to stand the whole time. We did have a chance to get up and dance without blocking anyone so well worth the extra money to sit at Port City. The only complaint I have was that the vocals were often too low so the music overshadowed the great vocals. If you get a chance to see the Mallet Brothers, do it! Well worth it!
