Robert Dubac is a truly talented comedian. This show is hysterically funny and highly recommended! I hope his new show comes to Milwaukee soon.

  • the male intellect??

Thank you for allowing us to laugh at all the things men do that drive us crazy. In that laughter, we saw a little of ourselves as women, that we do to drive men crazy. As they say, lets keep the "fun" in dysfunctional, maybe we all are a little crazy in our dealings with the opposite sex. Thanks for letting us all laugh at ourselves. Looking forward to the Book of Moron!! Hope it comes to Milwaukee.

  • The Male Intellect was so funny

Really, so funny. I was exhausted from laughing. The best time I had at a comedy show. He is a master of comedy. I am thanking myself for going. And, thank you for a 2pm show.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but the show was very funny. Both my husband and I enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this as a nice "night out" for most couples!

I saw the show on my birthday this year, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate! The author was dead on in his observations of the male-female relationship, which made the whole play hilarious! My husband and I had never been to the theatre in Minneapolis before, and it was a great new experience for us both.

  • Robert Dubac is NOT worth seeing!!

by Anonymous on 10/9/11New Century Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 1 out of 5

Robert Dubac is highly offensive and does not understand fly-over land audiences. I would never attend his performances in the future and I surely would never recommend his shows to a friend!

  • Worst theater experience I have ever had.

by comedylover on 10/6/11New Century Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 1 out of 5

I grew up seeing theater, opera, comedy, you name it, so it is a big part of my life. When I say this was the worst thing I have ever seen that is no minor statement. Not only was the subject matter recycled drivel that we have all heard 1000 times, the show was poorly written and executed. Mr. Dubac invited audience participation but then ridiculed audience members harshly if they participated. For example, one audience member shouted out, "The brain!" in an answer to a question posed. Mr. Dubac then said sarcastically," Oh the brain? Oh, like what I've been talking about for the last 30 minutes?" The endless stereotypical statements about men and women got old after about 30 seconds. I can't imagine this being funny in 1995 (when Mr. Dubac began peforming it) but it certainly isn't funny in 2011. I'm so glad that the men and women I know and love are nothing like the characters Mr. Dubac has decided they all are. Run, don't walk, away from this show as fast as you can.

A good way to unwind after a hard week--lots of laughs! I went with a friend and we kept chuckling even after we left the show.

He is a very good comedian who does great at improving. Well worth the money!

  • Certainly not a Guy Bashing Show

    by MNNative678 on 10/2/11New Century Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Booked this show for my wife's birthday to poke fun at us men and give her a good laugh. We ended up loving the show, the versatility and fun of the performer was very innovative. We loved the step by step process that the characted makes and it takes you through your own relationships and what you could da, should da done better. A great show for a date or just to have a good laugh. And Don't Worrry it's not about bashing guys, there are plenty of zingers directed at the ladies as well.

The Male Intellect: an Oxymoron was a delightful surprise! We had not heard of this production and were thoroughly entertained! My husband enjoyed it as much, if not more, than I did. We both roared. Ninety minutes never went by so fast! We highly recommend this production!

  • The Stereotypes were hilarious!

    by CindyJo77 on 4/26/11Andiamo Novi - NoviRating: 4 out of 5

I went to see the male intellect for my birthday with my boyfriend and some other couples. The stereotypes were hilarious. In general, the end message about relationships was good. Highly recommend seeing with a date.
