    Killers "Knocked 'em Dead"!

by Scott72 on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Ra Ra Riot was unremarkable but not terrible. The Killers had the crowd waiting for about 50 minutes before starting the show, but once they took the stage, there was nothing to complain about. It was about an hour and a half of non-stop great songs and they sounded great live. Brandon Flowers is a great and enigmatic front man and their set list covered all their best songs. The encore of "When You Were Young" had the crowd going nuts. I would highly recommend them and plan to see them again next time around in Indiana.

    Incredible

by mege12345 on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Killers are amazing! If you haven't seen them in person they're a MUST SEE! The Horseshoe venue was a little on the crummy side. The weather was gross humid and mosquito filled, the line to get in was outrageous and poorly organized and the beer line was insane! But the Killers definitely came to rock!

    Excellent show!!!!

The Killers were awesome!! I was especially excited to see Ra Ra Riot as their opening act. Made the price of the tickets even more worth it!

    Killers were awesome

by PPM4308 on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Opening act Ra Ra Riot were OK but the Killers were excptional. Second time I have seen them locally (last time Palace at Louisville Nov 2007) and the larger open-air event really works well. Only complaint - time between opening act and Killers WAAAY too long (almost 50 minutes!)

The Killers with Ra Ra Riot -- FANTASTIC

by hawhynprncss on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

All I have to say is if you haven't seen The Killers live and have the opportunity, GO TO THE SHOW! WOW! Brandon Flowers and the guys know how to entertain a crowd. High energy. Awesome lights and pyrotechnics. Amazing setlist! And Ra Ra Riot was really good, too!

    It was ok.

by 65fastback on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

So my review is sort of skewed. This is only the 2nd concert I have ever been to. The first was Linkin Park on their Minutes to Midnight tour. That show was SO AWESOME! that this one felt just average. They also did too much newer stuff and not enough stuff off their first cd. What they did do off their first cd was like the second song in, about the 8th song in and then the last two songs. So I pretty much stood there for who knows how long waiting for their better stuff to be played.

    The Killers Rocked IT

    Best of the Summer

by JBird1974 on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

The venue was perfect. Small, audience participation, no smoking, and a rockin band. The Killers know how to put on a performance. The electric vibe coming from lead singer Brandon Flowers, mentally pulled the entire audience on the stage with him and the entire venue became part of the show. The overall performance of the band leaves you both satisfied, but gluttingly wanting more. The final song wraped up the night with a blistering pace of rock and roll that the Killers have signaturely made thier own.

    Killers rocked it out.

by buzzkilled on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Plain and simple, this show was awesome. Great visuals, great sound and they ended the show with a flurry of their biggest hits. Can't ask for much better than that!

    Great Concert

Small venue made for intimate experience. No bad seat. Sounded great live and really kept the crowd engaged!

    Awesome Killers concert!

by KM1234 on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Aside from the fact that we had to wait in an extremely long line to get into the venue and missed the opening act (not like we were there to see Ra Ra Riot), the Killers blew us away. From doing almost every one of their singles and having breathtaking visuals on display on video screens behind them, it was well worth the money and standing in line. The crowd really went wild with "Somebody Told Me", "Mr. Brightside" and "When You Were Young". Can't wait to see them again.

    killers killed it

by steveo5176 on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

The killers was one of the best shows that I have seen in quite some time. They were very energetic on stage and did a great job getting the crowd into the show. They played some of their new stuff and rocked out to plenty of their old songs. I will definitely see them again.

    You Ain't No Freddie Mercury

by 2StarTown on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Brandon Flowers was trying WAY to hard to be a rock legend while the rest of the band looked bored & lackluster. The live versions added nothing & were even a notch below the album versions. The venue looked a bit haphazard & amateurish & the most of the crowd was there to drink & chat. I'd guess only about 10 or 20% were actual Killers fans (like us).

    Chatty Brandon, great chemistry

by Pinkscraze on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

This was my 4th time to see The Killers in concert. They have always been very entertaining. Brandon seemed much more talkative with the audience than previous shows. Of course his dancing and poses were entertaining as usual. They had new arrangements on some of their songs that changed things up instead of it sounding just like the album version. They played "Change Your Mind" during the encore which I loved to hear because I have never seen them do it in concert. They opened with "Human" which got the crowd pumped right off the bat. Of course "All these things that I've done" was their last song before the encore which was awesome like always- the whole crowd was totally into it. The boys just seemed like they were in great moods and were feeding off of the crowd a lot. It was a great night under the stars!

    Killers brought energy!

by CK72 on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

It was a great performance with some good crowd interaction. They played songs from every album and had excellent visuals on the sectional video screen. The bands energy was amplified by the visuals and pyro-technics. I wish they would have played just two more songs!

    Energizing

by Louisville on 8/9/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

It was a great concert. Can't believe how good they sound in person. They kept the crowd energized the whole time. The venue itself was not bad. Horseshoe Casino in indiana. They need to do a better job at beer line organizing. What a mess.
