The Jimmy Awards is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience. Broadway's stars of tomorrow competing for top prize, showcases the phenomenal talents of each and every nominee. In the end, only two are left standing. But overall, they are all winners. (Congratulations nominees) With these rising stars, Broadway will be shining much brighter in the years to come. Go Jimmys!

The Jimmy Awards presentation offered a chance for highly talented high school students from around the country to strut their stuff. Students who had won awards for their performances in regional theater were brought to New York to both learn from professional mentors and to perform on a Broadway stage. Most were given the chance to recreate a song from their plays, and expert judges chose the top performers. The audience members were also winners, since they got the chance to see incredibly talented youngsters display tremendous poise and professionalism--all for a very reasonable price. The Jimmy Awards are a great showcase for the stars of the future!
