Unbelievable concerty. B52s stole the show and had the crowd really going! The other three bands were also very good, and I'd sure love to see move acts like that where there are no breaks between bands as well.

80's B52's, Fixx, Human League, Berlin

by CareyBledsoe on 9/6/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

All groups were good. The B-52's were not given time for an encore. They were by far the best and should have played last instead of only one set.

    GREAT 80"S NIGHT CONCERT!

by JEWBAGEL on 9/6/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

THE HUMAN LEAGUE, THE B-52"S, THE FIXX AND BERLIN WAS A FANTASTIC NIGHT OF MUSIC. HUMAN LEAGUE WAS INCREDIBLE AND THE B-52"S PLAYED A REMARKABLE SET. TERRI NUNN LED BERLIN IN A WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE. HER VOICE IS STILL INCREDIBLE! THE FIXX WAS MY ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT. THE INDIVIDUAL BAND MEMBERS DIDNT SEEM TO BE INTO IT.

The Human League, The B-52's, The Fixx, Berlin

by richarddelatorre on 9/5/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

Berlin was to short, only like 5 songs. B52's could have played more hits but sounded good. Human League sounded really good. Image of all performers were entertaining.

Incredible time at the Hollywood Bowl to see the Human League, B-52's, The Fixx and Berlin. Good crowd, decent parking, nice venue. Hollywood Bowl has yet to disappoint.

Great concert. Wished the B52's had been the closing band.

    80's night was a blast!

by TanMarie on 9/5/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

This was so much fun! We celebrated my husband's birthday with his best friends, sister, & brother-in-law. The bands were better than expected. Seriously, Human League, The Fixx, and Berlin were awesome, but we thought The B-52's totally amazing! We would definitely recommend this to others and would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Totally 80z Daze

by PeacefulPiscean on 9/5/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

What an amazingly entertaining evening! I enjoyed all the acts, especially The B-52's (whom should have closed the show). It was a fun journey back to my HS era of yester-year and hearing some songs definitely brought back fond memories. If I could, I would do it all over again!

Had such an amazing 80's KROQ Flashback!!!

    by Mamamaria7 on 9/5/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

Took my husband and we had the best time singing and dancing to the classics that we remember from these great bands. B52s rocked the house! I wish Richard Blade would have hosted but Terri Nunn did a great job. Thanks Hollywood Bowl for the opportunity to relive my youth ;-)

    80's night @ the Bowl

by BarryBatthebowl on 9/5/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

Having spent all my 20's in the 80's, this concert was a must, besides it being the 7th B52s show I'll have seen since the first show in '81. The crowd was amped and ready for the best and we got what we paid for. Berlin and The Fixx were great and tight musically and were the perfect lead up to the quintescential 80's party band, the B52's, who came to play and did not let anyone down. Stood and danced the entire set, awesome!. I must admit, I had mixed feelings for what was a favorite band of mine in the 80's, Human League and their ability to follow such a very strong act who had the entire crowd on their feet for a good part of the show and sadly, they did not play up to any standard set by the prior sets. The stage seemed sterile and austere in comparison as well their delivery, pretty stale. My date and I gave them 3 songs to woo us to stay and we beat feet after the 3rd, along with what seemed like most of the rest of the crowd who were well on their way out the door as were we. I would have much rather have seen the B52;s headline with another great 80's group like Spandau Ballet or perhaps even ABC or even English Beat. Oh well, you can't always have a perfect evening. I just can't understand the thinking that the strength of Human League's past performances and album sales would warrant them headliners for such an important Hollywood Bowl night.

    80's line up bands memorable!!!

by Faymoso on 9/4/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

All the bands rocked! Magnificant comeback from the old days. Fred for example, from B52s truely showed lots of energy at his age. For viewers that missed this conceet was a big loss of a lifetime. Terri from Berlin was an awesome host as well as her performance. p.s OMG she still looks hot at her age. The Fixx continues to pull off an excellent show. Last, who i really wanted to see, since others seen in concert many times, was Human League. Not once have i ever in my life had opportunity to see them in concert. Any boy! Phil (singer) and the gorgeous gals blew me away for my first time seeing them. In my opinion as far as sound quality ,on stage out of other bands that night, was loud, and very clean sound. They brought keybord and synth sounds from back in that era. All the bands rocked overall in my eyes.

    Totally 80's Flashback!!

    by Atom56 on 9/4/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

This was a very good show, all 4 bands sounded great, its amazing that each lead singer stilled sounded so well and their voices have not cracked or soound worse for wear. My only complaint would be that each band should have played more songs in their set, especially the Fixx's set seemed rather short. I am surprised that B-52's did not headline and that it was the Human League, not that I have a issue with that. So for 3 hours it was like I was transported back in time and felt like a teenager again.

    9 on a 1-10 scale

    by JackTravern34 on 9/4/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

Great perfomances. A lot of these guys still sound like the record. ! The Human League perform some new tracks that really good. The only low of the night, B52s went a little long, and Terri Nunn as the host should have save one big song for the end instead of dissapearing. But overall a great show.

Dressed up 80's sang, danced, had a great time. Loved going back to the 80's and love the Hollywood Bowl. The order of fun was: 1 The B52's 2 Berlin 3 The Fixx 4 Human League

B-52s were awesome, rest only okay.

    by cyth5 on 9/4/11Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

Loved the B-52s. The Fixx and Human League were only fair. Missed Berlin because they apparently only sang 2-3 songs.
