The Hooters are amazing each and every show. ALWAYS a great time. The crowd was having a blast. I have to give props to the venue. Getting in through security and over all everyone who worked there had a system and there were no issues. Great staff. I hope this turns into a yearly show!
The first concert I ever saw was the Hooters back in 1985. They still got it!!
XL is an amazing venue, one could only dream of fantasizing. What once was the Parking lot for Savanahs on Hanna, Has become the last Harrisburg Dance hall. > yet since the Pandemic Kept us all out of Dance halls & bars, The crowd was mostly Tall men Blocking the state from veiw. Once upon a time People No longer feel the need to be polite, they mussle their way onto a stage! and Block any path , For those who follow in their wake, I Was able to make my way to the wings & catch a glimps of The band unobstructed. There after i Went back to my Reserved table, & enjoy the conclusion of the show! Thank you XL it was the most fun In the last 14 months, Exsept for Parchesi
The Hooters return to Harrisburg was great. Hope to see them again soon.
I felt like I eas seeing The Hooters from the 1980s. Small venue, great set list, tons of energy and an overall great time. Cheers to The Hooters on 40 years! Since 1980!!!
The Hooters show was outstanding and once again the Club XL was a great venue. It’s a safe environment and they do a great job getting you in and ensuring a good time. I will continue to attend shows there!
Venue was nice. Hot as hell but nice. Plenty of spot a pots which were clean. The Hooters played all their hits and the crowd was into it!
Appel Farms is charming, but would be a better venue with some source of shade. It was 100 degrees, humid, and no shade unless you moved from where you could see the group to a wooded perimeter. There was NO food allowed, but only 3 venders, an ice cream truck, water ice and tator tots. Tater tots! The concert was at 3pm. So food would be nice! The Hooters were spectacular musically and vocally. They said they might be having heat stroke.
From the opening band, John Faye, to the very last Hooters song the music was awesome. The sound was fantastic. John Faye and Joey Ditullio were the perfect openers and set the tone for an amazing concert. Can't wait to see them again!!!
So awesome to see The Hooter perform live!! They played all their hits and then some! Their voices sounded great and they really put on a fantastic show! I felt safe being outdoors (even though it was ungodly hot that day) and being able to social distance. The venue was nice however there was little to no option for food! There was a "tater tot" food truck and 2 ice cream/water ice trucks and that was it. The venue does not allow you to bring food in so it would have been nice to have some more variety/options for food. All in all it was a great show. LOVE The Hooters!
Unique experience in that it was an outdoor, late-afternoon concern on a super hot and muggy day in South Jersey. The three of us--my wife and an awesome millenial friend who was the ultimate good sport--all were sweating like the proverbial sinners in church. But it was THE HOOTERS for pete's sake! First time I'd seen them live since 1985, and I'd have gone if the concert was in a honky tonk parking lot filled with broken glass. They were fantastic, of course. So, if objectivity is important in these reviews, I fail to meet that benchmark. The band absolutely sounded great, and despite the heat, I saw very few concertgoers who were not having a grand time. And above all, they are genuinely caring humans who've spent their lives making music that moves me and countless others, and I'm grateful beyond words for that.
The venue was nice and relaxing. Pods were nice. Concert was fun. The Hooters always give you a great show. Songs were on point!
Wish I knew there was an opener, only one food truck with Tater Tots only, other 2 trucks were for sweets, no cooling stations. Band was great but had to leave early because of the heat!
The show was amazing. They are still rocking after 40 years. It was 100 degrees and they still played their hearts out. The venue was great. I would see another show there in a heartbeat.
I haven't seen them in a long time. They were fantastic! Truly talented musicians. Their performance was great. They looked great! Their set list was amazing. They genuinely seem like they are having fun. Plus- they played for 3 hours without a break! Music Pier was the perfect place to see them. We are planning to go to the Keswick to see them again.
Wonderful concert. Sound system was terrific and the vocals were clear and crisp. This band has not lost their magic! The fans were inspired by the music.
The show was great..All the guys are talented musicians and aimed to please. Played several encores.the show lasted over two hours.. highlights were covers of Fly like an eagle.. and Lucy in the Sky with diamonds. I know some people post negative reviews for covers.. but I really enjoy a different slant on old songs Very refreshing approach to the old classics. The band used to be one of my favorites in the 80s. It was fun to reconnect with all the great songs after not hearing them for so long
38 years after the Hooters came together for the first time they still put on an amazing show.
This group has not lost their touch and put on such a great show!
