The boys of The High Kings put on a terrific show with their toe tapping, leg jumping, hand clapping, sing along songs coming fast and furious. Definitely the most fun I’ve had in the last two years and one of the top three concerts I’ve ever seen.
We sat in the middle section 3/4 of the way up in the auditorium! The acoustics were phenomenal! We were able to hear all of the nuances of the acoustic guitars, mandolin, accordion and wind instruments! The vocals and harmonization were superb! What a gifted group the High Kings are, bravo!
The show was AMAZING from start to finish!!! I was lucky to be in the front row & had a blast!!!
The High Kings did not disappoint! We brought along friends who had not heard their music... and now they are instant fans!! We can’t wait for the next tour!
Im 70. Social distancing kept me away. Sorry I missed these wonderful singers!
Caveat: COVID-19 High Kings were amazing as always, but they started late, gave no encore, and skipped a couple of songs on their set list. We hosted a rather large group with several 1st-timers and for the $ we spent felt the show was short.
The High Kings were great! So much energy; it was contagious for the audience. Wonderful repertoire and great singing.
The High Kings always seem to enjoy what they are doing on stage and that permeates the audience. Great music, great voices, great fun
THE HIGH KINGS PUT ON ANOTHER GREAT SHOW IN BUFFALO. MY WIFE AND I ARE GLAD WE MADE THE ROAD TRIP. THE DOWNSIDE WAS GUESTS TALIKING TOO MUCH DURING PERFORMENCE.
This is a great group to listen to, they are entertaining and energizing. I sat in the 5th row and the seats were great. I believe they have updated the seats since the last time I was there in 2016. I would recommend this concert to anyone who likes Celtic Music.
Never been to the Ludlow Garage and loved it. Great venue. I follow The High Kings but have never seen them in concert. They were awesome. The music was great and the way they interacted with the crowd made it seem like they were playing in your living room. Long live The High Kings!
I wish we had discovered this venue a long time ago. How amazing to enjoy one of our favorite bands while relaxing in comfortable seats and having our drinks served to us. The band was incredible to see live. We can’t wait to go back.
I have never been to a bad High King’s Show. We see them every time they play New England. Their Somerville show this time blew me away. I didn’t think it was possible for them to improve. The band has such unique connections to the area, their songs, and the fans it spills over into their show. From the “Yankees Suck” chang led by the crowd to the heartfelt rendition of a last son sung with a father the show was absolute perfection. We see many concerts this year (Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Kid Rock, etc.). The High Kings were by far the best show. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this event. The only thing missing was the BPD on the bagpipes for the finale.
Excellent show. High energy, loads of fun and great music!
The music was very good, they had a lot of variety in their songs. The venue was pretty nice as well.
We had a great time at The High Kings show. The group is very talented and played a great mix of older and newer songs. The group knew how to get the audience fired up and the audience responded. We had a very entertaining evening!
