Alice Cooper is still an awesome show, theatrical great! Zombie created a mad scene and the crowd was wicked.
The Murderdolls started the show. They were excellent, but their show was way too short, leaving everyone wanting more! But Wednesday Thirteen of Murderdolls never fails to entertain! They were great! I was a little surprised to see Alice on Next, I was sure he'd be the headliner, as Rob Zombie really hasn't had the career Alice has. But, none-the-less, Alice rocked as usual. This particular venue, The Covelli Center's stage was unusually low, so people waaay in the back saw absolutely nothing, which was a shame cause there were many children there! Also, the security was a little rediculous, made me feel like we were in another country, one that expects visiters to be carrying hand granades and m80's. Kinda unusual. All in All, Murderdolls were GREAT and Alice was the Best, and we left and didn't see ANY of Rob Zombie! Rock on!
alice cooper was great...as always...really impressed with rob zombie....hell of a show
I was entertained and rocked out to the whole show. Never a dull moment and the crowd loved it too. Love Alice Cooper, glad to see him again, Rob Zombie rocks my world!!!!
awesome....best props of any concert ive been too!!!!!!
It was literally one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life!!!!!
Best show I have seen.....well.........maybe ever!
My first concert ever and it turned out to be an amazing show!
Overall, the concert was great ! Murderdolls were OK, lacked some effect since it was still light out when they started. Many of their songs on the setlist sounded the same and they didn't play "Teenage Zombie" which is a song I like. Alice Cooper kicked ass! Incredible for a 61 year old, lot of energy and the crowd was really into it, he definately stole the show. His band was amazing especially the guitar players. Zombie's stage show was awesome but his vocals were off. He seemed winded by the second song and his timing was behind. The setlist was just OK, the finale felt anticlimactic. Rob Zombie was much better the times I've seen him previously. However always incredible to see John 5 play.
This was a very cool show, and oh, so appropriate for Halloween. The first band was Murderdolls, a side project by Rob Zombie/Slipknot drummer, Jody Jordinson. He plays guitar in this band! The group came out all covered in dirt as if they had just arisen from the grave, and it was hilarious as they shook themselves off and created a dust cloud on stage. Their music was pure heavy metal, the cool tuneful kind. Alice Cooper's show was pure theatre from start to finish. It was like a fabulous magic show, with astounding timing and choreography. Alice was stalking the stage with live swords and blades, while guitar players and actors dressed as ghouls, ninjas, and madment careened around him. I was amazed nobody accidently got hurt! The song list ranged from the 70's to the 21st century, with most all of his hits. His band absolutely rocked. Death scenes for Alice: Guillotine, Giant Hypodermic through the gut, hanging, and piercing in an iron maiden. The ghouls had to mop up lots of fake blood after the last one! Rob Zombie's show was equally excellent. Much more of a rock concert with special affects and wild costumes, than Alice, he ran though many favorites, such as Dragula, House of 1000 Corpses, More Human Than Human, Sick Bubblegum, and, my favorite, Thunderkiss '65. John 5, the lead guitar player is one of my favorite artists in his own right; I enjoy his solo albums. During Thunderkiss, he put on a huge guitar clinic, starting with a bunch of shred, sequeing into the "Theme From the Munsters" (that song never rocked as hard as that before!), and finishing it off by playing the Star Spangled Banner with his teeth. The show ended with Zombies band throwing trick or treat candy out to the audience while the sound system blared "The Monster Mash". Best Halloween party I've been to in a long time!
Murderdolls set was too short compared to Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie. Saw Zombie at Mayhem Fest in Dallas earlier this year and that performance was alot better than this most recent one. As always John 5 and Joey Jordison gave outstanding performances on both occasions, but Jordison's drum solo was much to be desired this time than at Mayhem Fest; possibly from doing 3 week straight double duty for both Murderdolls & Zombie?
The show was unforgettable! Alice Cooper will always rock! Rob Zombie was a nice addition. The stage show from both is worth the money hands down. If you love hard rock, some twisted horror show, and to rock your socks off, then this show is for you.
The show was Awsome!! The only bad thing about the evening was the security was giving Rob Zombie a hard time with allowing them to do an ancore-
Alice Cooper is a tough act to follow. Alice and Rob Zombie were co-headliners with "Murderdolls" opening. Most concert goers were young Rob Zombie fans and curious about Alice. Alice took the stage with "Schools Out" and immediately followed with "No More Mr.Nice Guy". He then preceded to JAM. You name it he did it. Gulliatines, straight jackets, Gallows, poison needles, swords, dead babies, one-eyed monster, impaled - Over the Top, Scary, Weird, Funny - Damn Alice is good. Never a lull in the show. Alice kept firing on all cylinders. That show was definitely a Halloween Hootenanny. Alice Cooper made himself a lot of new fans that nite.
The concert was a big success and impressive beyond belief!!! Couldn't have come at a better time a week before halloween and the ghoulish macabre style of all bands fell in perfect. Murderdolls opened up with a very energetic performance pumping up the crowd's adrenaline and excitement! Alice Cooper was amazing and in my opinion stole the show with his classic hits and neverending energy! Rob Zombie's stage show was great however i noticed his voice was off and out of breath in the beginning but later on he was back on key. Not one of my best Zombie show but great none the less. 10 out of 7!!!!
I've seen a Zombie concert before and it was nothing compared to this one. The lights, effects, the over all show was awesome!! I'm a huge fan of Zombie and it was great when he (Zombie) came off stage and walked into the crowd. I actually got a chance to get a high five...freaking great. No mosh pits allowed is a good rule...lets you get closer to the stage without worrying about some idot going crazy next to you. Overall, Had an awesome time. Hope to see Zombie again soon...even better if its at Concrete Amphitheater.
Murderdolls were excellent and of course so were Alice and Rob. This was a good show and we hope to go there again for more awesome shows.
I love open-door concerts! The best seat ever... My friend and I were in the front close to the stage and the MOSH PITS were awesome...
All I can say is it was so freaking awesome!!!! Come on murderdolls Alice Cooper and rob zombie where can u go wrong.
Highly recommend you watch this show!!!!! Tickets are cheap for quality of this show!
