These shows were amazing. Trey killed it. I can die now.
The show was historical so glad the dead put it on one last time. Fare thee well to every deadhead everywhere. At least I got in even though behind da stage, as grate as can be expected. THANK YOU FOR A REAL GOOD TIME!!!!!!
I've been to hundreds of concerts, and this is definitely in the top 3 concert experiences in my life. Fare Thee Well was amazing! Trey was melting faces!!!!!!!
Life changing concert experience. I feel healed and rejuvenated after these shows. Can't wait for phish tour, and I can't wait to visit Chicago again! Barbie
Words can't express how amazing this concert was. If you were there, you know what I'm talking about. There was just an energy in the air.
You had to be there... Such a long, long time to be gone...
Sunday's show was incredible as well! Best concert I've ever been to.
This short review cannot come close to stating how wonderful the opening show of The Grateful Dead was. Although Jerry will always be loved and missed the songs will always be alive. The energy, emotions, beauty and every moment of the music was overwhelming at times. I am so grateful and thankful to have been a part of this incredible celebration. Thank you to everyone involved in this amazing band. You all changed my life growing up and will be in my heart, mind and soul forever. God Bless You.
Awesome shows, Phil Lesh really tore it up and was awesome on vocals. Micky and Billy were incredible. Bruce was awesome on piano and trey suprised me with his great guitar playing though it was far from Jerry.
Amazing three day show! Final send off no one will soon forget.
Went all 3 Nights on the CID Golden Road Package. Shakedown Street every afternoon before the shows, hanging out with friends-new (LAKERS!) and old (STL). Epic time! The Dead played well with Trey bringing it every night. Jerry is the heart and soul of this band but this rendering was an appropriate and well done good bye. Thank you for the memories!
Truly an amazing show from the performance to the visuals. Hands down the best I've ever seen.
Awesome, great experience. I hope they do the east coast soon!!
I couldn't have asked for a better time! The entire weekend was magical! ! Thank you for a real good time! !
Excitement high, emotions skyrocketing. How do you cap a career or a lifetime of being a deadhead? An impossible task. Mama mama many worlds have come since I first left home. We were all there to feel the incredible joy for one more time. Being together on a seemingly long strange trip that sadly was not endless. Inspiration did move us brightly in an unbroken chain of love and music. My love for the spirit inside the lyrics and song truly will not fade away. It was more than a good time. The songs have been beacons and guiding lights that shall remain timeless. Thank you to the band for dusting off those rusty strings just one more time and renewing the good feeling.
Awesome experience...would do it allover again in a heartbeat. Chicago and it's citizens were great!
Loved every minute- except for Mason's Children. But great shows!
great show, wish I had a view of the stage but my seats were obstructed view. Ticketmaster never told me that and I paid full price.
I have seen over 300 live concerts in my lifetime. Nothing will ever top these three nights at Soldier Field. There is really nothing more to say.
In the future, this weekend will be looked upon as an unforgettable, one of a kind, awesome, you were so lucky to have been there experience. Sure the music can be (and is being) critiqued but the multiple highlights every evening more than made up for the "moderate-lights". Some of my memorable moments include: Box of Rain opener, last GD song played 20 years ago, Jackstraw, never heard a version like that before, took my breath away, Scarlett Begonias, if there was any lingering doubt as to whether Trey was up to the part, it was set to rest here. The grin on his face as the masses sang along was beatific. The crowds, the Deadheads, the people; just beautiful. In three days of 70,000 plus people per day I did not hear a single cross word or sharp remark by anyone. Ushers and all involved were great too. Can't remember the number of people who shook hands, high-fived, hugged and wished all of us a great time. It truly was.
