The Grass Roots Tickets

The group acted like they were enjoying themselves and captured the original sound.

We saw New Colony Six and The Grass Roots at Des Plaines Theatre. The Grass Roots set list was so much than I expected. Amazing vocals. The crowd was so enthusiastic. I would gladly travel to see them again. Don’t miss this!

I think the least Ticketmaster or The Golden Nugget could have done was informed ua that there were no original members of the group there. The band was pretty tight. Dustin the guitar player was very good and the drummer was also on mark. The vocals weren't there. They didn't have the pop the originals had. I'll admit I was a Robbie Grill fan, saw him many times, and I was expecting something close....but the group was a Saturday Night Cover Band at best !!!!

This was a fabulous concert. So many great songs, sounded just like I remembered them. Did all the classics we wanted to hear and they were having a great time.

We totally enjoyed the Grass Roots Concerts and found ourselves brought back in time. The Performance was just what we wanted and we were singing along on almost every song. Lead singer was spot on, the keyboard player and lead guitarist were both beyond amazing. Very good all around and great work !!

Foellinger Theatre in Fort Wayne was a fantastic venue! Friendly and courteous workers, clean and spacious, we had great seats for the concert! The Grass Roots were first, p,aged all their hits, sounded great! The Box Tops were next, they were so good and had 2 original members, sounded so good with the horn section from the Buckinghams backing them up! Of course the Buckinghams were amazing, played for over an hour, not just their hits but other hits from the sixties such as Chicago and the Beatles! Loved their energy and expert presentation! Fantastic concert!

We had a great time at the concert. It was filled with great vocals and great instrumentation. Everyone there seemed to have a great time. Great venue.

Grass Roots were the best with own songs!! Other groups were good doing some other artists songs, we enjoyed the concert!!

Every band was incredible. Songs I never thought I would see performed live. If anyone is from the 70s, you should go!

Ok. They started 15 min late and lasted a little over 1.5 hrs Not the group I was hoping for. Not to say they were bad. Just not the group I was hoping for. I spent over $350 for two seat to get up close but I think the less expensive choice would have been just as good. After the concert I was going to pick up a souvenir t-shirt. No shirts, no nothing. Disappointed.

First of all, love the venue. The Golden Nugget Showroom is intimate and comfortable- there’s not a bad seat. The Grass Roots sounded great! The rapport among band members was funny and relaxed. If the band is having a good time, so is the audience. All my favorite 60’s AM radio favs. Felt like a kid again! Will look forward to seeing them next time!

We had a terrific time enjoying an evening with The Grassroots! The music was great, the musicians had fun performing for us and you can tell they are good friends. Very enjoyable evening!
