About

The Glitch Mob, comprised of Ed Ma (edIT) and Josh Mayer (Ooah) continue forward in 2024. Based in Los Angeles, they came together around 2006, through a mutual love of underground rave culture.

Their first three albums - Drink the Sea, Love Death Immortality, and See Without Eyes - took them on a decade long adventure of headline shows and massive festival stages across the globe, leading the charge with high-end production.

Always determined to evolve, innovate, and experiment, The Glitch Mob have returned to the underground with a slate of original music and collaborations on their new label imprint, All The People - a love letter to rave culture. From the music to their live shows, this new era centers around community, authenticity, immersion, and most of all - connection to the culture that brought them together.

  • 360 shows aren’t for all venues

by Sad Fan on 1/2/25The ELM - BozemanRating: 3 out of 5

As a fan of Glitch Mobs old and new music I was excited to see their new endeavors. The music and performances did not disappoint, but the experience was ruined by not being able to see the artists. 360 shows are great if done right but in a venue where it is designed to have multiple standing room level to see a high up stage it did not work. If you weren’t in the first level of standing room or in the very front of the second level, you couldn’t see anything! Staring at the back of people’s heads while the LD tries to fill the void with lights just doesn’t do it. If you plan on doing a show with the artist out in the middle, at least give them a riser of some sorts. I was excited to see the Modular racks they have shown on social media, but left disappointed I could only see by pushing to the front.

  • Mediocre

by Grace on 12/31/24The ELM - BozemanRating: 2 out of 5

I was surprised to see that it was a boiler room set with the artists in the crowd instead of on the stage. The fact that they were even with the height of the crowd made it impossible to see them perform. I would have liked a heads up that thats how it was going to be set up. Couldn’t see the artist I paid to see the whole show

  • Not what I was expecting but still very good

    by Magna2D on 5/7/24Elevation 27 - Virginia BeachRating: 4 out of 5

I saw Glitch Mob in 2018 and it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. The music and the show was top. Maybe because they are now just 2 guys vs the 3 they needed to change it up, not sure. But the show was much more intimate. No big stage drama and none of the old hits. It was the 2 guys with mixers in the middle of the floor with the crowd gathered around them. I never expected that. I was able to get within 3 feet of them the whole time and was even able to fist bump during the performance. After they were done I was able to get pics with each of them. That was amazing and probably not possible with a bigger show setup. So it was good and less good (not bad). The level of intimacy was unbelievable, the lack of big "show"and banging out the hits was honestly a little disappointing. But standing literally within arms reach and watching them doing DJ/mixing stuff right in front of my face was something I will never forget.

  • Show ran late but it was good

by GW on 7/4/23Rating: 4 out of 5

There were other people DJing for like three hours and I didn't know what was going on. I found out later that their flight was delayed but then their set only lasted like a little bit over an hour or so that was kind of a bummer.

  • Went on at 12:40am

by Austin on 7/4/23Rating: 1 out of 5

I’ve been to many glitch mob shows and have always had an excellent experience. This was not that. I was excited to see their new ideas but after 4 hours of warm up acts that were clearly stalling for time the crowd was dead and glitch mob was uninspired. If the headliner is going on after midnight it need a to be advertised.

This was THE best concert I’ve ever been to. I would see it again over 50 times if I could!

Glitch mob and Elohim were awesome. State theater is fine too

  • Glitch Mob was amazing

by BrickNiel on 10/22/18State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I was worried because the opener, Elohim, didn't understand how to make their music flow naturally. Would have tiny exciting moments that you could dance to but as soon as you got into it, she cuts into something very quiet. Glitch Mob was loud and had a flow to their music that got you going and kept you there for a bit. Then gave natural breaks to catch your breath. Their light show was A+

  • Amazing performance

by MisterKrabs on 10/14/18The Sylvee - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

I didn't expect The Glitch Mob to play their percussion pieces live. They played a lot of their older and well-known songs. This made for a great performance.
