About

The year 2013 was one of transition for West Coast rapper The Game, who began by promoting his fifth studio album, Jesus Piece, which peaked at No. 6 on The Billboard 200 chart, and ended it by releasing a new mixtape titled OKE and signing with a new label, Cash Money Records. The MC and his acclaimed concert backing band, 1500 or Nothin, backed the album with a limited number of U.S. tour dates, but fans oversees had more opportunities to buy tickets.

The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, first became known as a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit crew, but he jumped headlong into superstardom with the release of his 2005 album The Documentary, which was executive produced by West Coast rap legend Dr. Dre and sold more than 5 million copies.  Game exited Dr. Dre's Aftermath label for  his follow-up album, 2006's Doctor's Advocate, but that didn't stop him from again hitting No. 1 on the album chart.  His chart success continued with 2008's LAX, which reached No. 2 on the chart, and 2011's The R.E.D. Album, which returned him to the top of The Billboard 200.

    The Game R.E.D. tour

by Rickiz602 on 10/24/11Venue of Scottsdale - Scottsdale

Game came out about 15 after mindight, with about 25 no names on stage. He did a real crappy show for about 35 minutes. It was by far one of the worst concerts i been to. Waiting hours for him to come out and just put no effort to his show was dissapointing. I will never see him live again.

    Terrible! (10/21 Phoenix Show)

by lmorris26419 on 10/23/11Venue of Scottsdale - Scottsdale

We waited 4 hours just to se him. Sat through the WORST opening acts only for him to perform for 30 minutes and end his set. He doesn't even perform most of his songs. He performed ONLY 3 tracks from his latest RED album. It was seriously a disappointment and I wouldn't waste my money this time around as it is not what you are expecting.

    GAME

The GAME KILLED IT. He had the crowd going nuts. Even though he showed up at midnight and only was on for an hour.

THE SHOW WAS GREAT, GAME PUT IT DOWN....IT WAS A NONSTOP PARTY AS SOON AS HE GOT ON STAGE.......... AT LEAST 1 MORE ARTIST TO OPEN WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD.

The GAME displayed exactly why he is the best rhyme spitter in hip hop...he poured his heart and soul into this performance. This was billed as the biggest show of his career, and It definitely lived up to expectations from a fans perspective.

This show was way more hood compared to the one the night before @ Club Nokia. Not necessarily a bad thing, just a different experience from back to back Game performances. Both were enjoyable.

Very very entertaining show. Music selection was perfect. Da performance was worth double da price of da price but da dj entertain da crowd mean while game showed had very poor selection n rude. She flicked off da crowd because we didn't like da music n we started to boo. I would only ask to have a better dj or an artist or two to open up da show. But as game goes 1 of sa best performances I've ever sern

Game definitely put together a top notch for his LA tour date performance this year. Well organized set list and stage elements (ie back-up dancers, swimsuit models, outfit changes, and special guests Xzibit & Game's own two sons) made this one of the best showings he has had in recent years.
