  • Warm-up acts cooled us down

by NorvaNogo on 1/2/13The Norva - NorfolkRating: 2 out of 5

The Fighting Jamesons were great, but not great enough to make up for the lackluster warm-up bands, who should have been called "The Loud Caucasians Wearing Plaid". 1 1/2 hours of having our ears blasted out by marginal musical talent with unintelligible vocals and a half-hour break before the Jamesons took the stage killed the mood. The Jamesons were able to bring it back, but it would have been a lot nicer to be primed for them after being warmed up, rather than simply trying to endure until they took the stage.

  • What a blast!

The Fighting Jameson's are so high energy! Lots of fun. They get the crowd involved. Just an overall great time!

  • The Reverend started what was an forgettable show

    by bornbigirish317 on 9/10/12The Norva - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5

From the time the bands hit the stage, to the final beat of music these bands gave 100%. The crowd responded with non-stop energy that was felt throughout the venue. Both bands involved the crowd and the crowd took it from there. The Rev's "Clap Your Hands" and "Angels Look Like Hell" rocked. The Fighting Jamesons celtic sound was highlighted with Drunkin Sailor. Everyone loved it.

  • Jameson got beat up!

by NickHorrific on 3/2/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing show. This is the second time I have seen The Fighting Jamesons, but it will most certainly not be the last. They have such amazing ability and passion that resonates over the entire stage, floods through the Screaming fans, and fills the building. Originally went to see them the first time because of their covers of Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphy. I have seen both of the for-mentioned bands, however, I believe The Fighting Jamesons plays the covers better than the originals. I would pick The Fighting Jamesons over the other two any day! I cannot wait to see them again!

  • Geal and Jameson, One of the best shows EVER!!

by CDChris on 6/20/11The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

Fighting Jameson put on an amazing show as always. Including some brand new originals. The crowd was small and they worked it. Everyone had a great time. Their opening act was great as well. It was a very nice tie in with their music. Hoping to see much more of both groups together.

  • Intimate Drunken Happiness.

    by Godspeed1715 on 6/20/11The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to a couple of their shows and they are always packed, but for some reason this show was pretty empty. I bet it was the fact that it was graduation weekend. The venue was at about 25% capacity. The show was pretty awesome in the fact that I was pretty much on the stage the entire show. There was more than enough room for my wife to dance around to the music. The band was pretty great. They were at the top of their game while Playing one of the better shows I've seen. They played a pretty intensive set list from their older stuff, and a few of their newer stuff. Overall I had a pretty awesome time. I will definitely go back to The National. Plus richmond is a pretty interesting city too.
