Fantastic band wonderous sound system excellent staff
Fab Faux are wonderful. Top of the pops. Singing well, playing those fills, and putting together a live act to estimate what we hear on the albums is beyond impressive. The sound level at the Beacon was too high. It got above 85 decibels according to app on my phone. The reason I checked is that it was uncomfortable listening to the music. It was unsafe in my estimation. Please relay a message to the sound engineers at the Beacon Theater to be more caring and responsible.
I know it would have been a 5 star show. We live in Chicago and were flying in for the concert. Our flight was cancelled and we couldn't sell the tix either. So sad. We love the Fab Faux.
I have faithfully attended this yearly even at the Beacon. However, this year, it was, sad to say, lackluster. Sound was not good, several technical difficulties. I was disappointed in the show.
The best thing about the Fab Faux is you never need earplugs they don't play too loud
It's clear the Fab Faux are dedicated to showing younger listeners why the Beatles were the greatest band of the 20th century. For a bunch of guys at least twice the age the Beatles were when they created the music, the Fab Faux faithfully recreate the vast majority of the songs they performed, including the most challenging. This is not theater with costume changes and wigs and boots to create the look of the Beatles. This is an actual band that accurately reproduces the sound of the records.
Another fantastic evening with The Fab Faux, who never disappoint their fans. Being at The Beacon Theater is a pleasure- beautiful place, great acoustics, and a good view.
I’ve seen the Fab Faux at least a dozen times. They no longer tour. This was their first gig in a long time and they were clearly rusty. Not one of their better performances.
The Fab Faux were terrific.. they went in time and the selections played were good
Have seen them many times always great. The sound mix however this time was bad
Enjoyed the show. Also, the fact that I bought the tickets 7 months ago enabled me to get the best seats in the house: First row right behind sound board on the aisle.
We were so happy to see this great band brings us the music of our youth. The venue and staff were terrific; so helpful. The place was comfortable. It had a great sound system. The Fab Faux put on another wonderful show giving us music from The Beatles’ entire body of work. The audience ate it up and let the band know it. Rock on🙃🎸
Such a fantastic show. Partially because I love the Beatles music library but mainly because this band if full of musician's musicians. Top of their craft- just the best. They play Beatles tracks that the Beatles never played live so it was an awesome set list full of surprises
2.5 hours of amazing Beatles music. The Fab Faux have never been better...been going to their shows for many years. Still have my pin from winning Frank's Trivia at The Bowery Ballroom...lol. You could feel the energy and see the joy on these 5 amazing musician's faces...to finally be back and playing to their fans... esp on Paul's 80th birthday!! Rich/Olga
Third time I’ve seen them. Getting better and better. Songs you never hear live. Fantastic. I think a fourth time is in order. Not just covers but really good cover versions.
Love the Fab Faux and The Paramount is a great venue. They always give a fantastic concert, so much talent, and a real connection with the audience. After 2 postponements and a cancellation, the evening couldn’t have been better.
Sheer joy on the part of the band and audience alike. It was great to get back to live music in NYC...and the Fab Faux play the best music ever written. They are extraordinary musicians and entertainers, and it was an amazing night!
Well, I will make this short and sweet. This was the second best concert I've ever seen. The first was Bangladesh. Nuff said.
Loved every song!! This band always blows my mind!! ❤️
The band was fabulous. The crowd was well behaved and having a great time. Security was spot on, friendly, and helpful. The folks at the concession stands are always a pleasure to deal with. Mobile ticket entry is always a nightmare. People who can’t find the tickets on their phones delay entry for others and back up the lines causing havoc on Broadway, 74th and 75th Streets. When people finally get inside and find their way to the wrong seats, locating their tickets on their phone when an usher comes along interrupts the concert for everyone in the right seats. Dozens of people who don’t belong in the orchestra section can stroll right In because their tickets “are on my friend’s phone”. Mobile tickets are ruining the live concert experience for everyone except Ticketmaster, who are laughing all the way to the bank.
