Great line up, great venue, energy was freakin awesome. Couldnt have asked for a better show!
The music was AWESOME. I love the venue, Culture Room, its a small personal venue, it gets pretty full.
It was a very fun concert. The atmosphere was cool and the people all seemed to enjoy themselves.
Awesome! The Expendables never disappoint! Great crowd, music, atmosphere!
I enjoyed the concert. The Expendables rocked it as they always do. The openers; Players Inc. and John Brown's Body put on a good show as well. Overall, it was a great concert and great night. Thanks guys! See when you are back in Seattle!
i went to the expendables show last weekend...it was my second time seeing them. they are one of those bands that sound as good or better than their recordings, and the live show is soo fun. they played a bunch of classics, including sacrifice for the 2nd encore, and peppered in some new ones along the way too. i would definitely recommend seeing the expendables sometime soon...they are such a good mix of styles - reggae, pop punk, punk rock, METAL, pretty much everything but country. next time they are coming to detroit i will be there FO SHO
C-money and the players inc. had a great sound and really knew how to get people into it. C-money's trumpet playing was sick both during his slot and during a few of The Expendables songs.
This was my first time seeing The Expendables and they put on a great show! I would love to see them again. They had a great mix of old and new songs and great flow between songs.
The show was good. The Expendables kicked ass as they always do. I was also very impressed with Tomorrows Bad Seeds. I will definitely be buying their album. However Dirty Penney was horrible. their music sucked and did not in any way mesh with the two main acts.
sucked that it was a weekday show...starting at 7pm...for those out of town like me..its hard to be there by 7....the only band i wanted to see started at 7....missed them comletely due to work restraints unable to get out of..
Hands down best concert I have been to In my life. Been to countless reggae concerts andthat was the top one for sure!! Will be buying tickets when they are back!!
Love Love Loveed the show Tomorrows bad seeds rocked the house, dirty penny rocked the house, Big B rocked the house and last but definately not least The Exendables brought down the house...! all the bands were really cool and down to earth, got to chill with moses and Animal from tomorrows bad seeds all in all a fantastic show! they just need to come to houston!!!!!
those guys can jam. tomorrows bad seeds really stole show also.
Simply put, the show was amazing. The venue itself was mindblowingly cool. The Stone Pony is a very small place, so regardless of where you stood you had a great spot. The Expendables were unbelievably good. I mean, REALLY good. I first heard of them last summer at Summer Stage in Central Park when they opened up for 311. Really sick act. Anyway, I had to pull away from the front of the stage as the pit was getting pretty intense and didn't want my gf to get hurt. I couldn't hear out of my left ear for three days, but it was well worth it. Tomorrow's Bad Seed were really good too. I had not heard of them until that night and now I have one of their CD's. Dirty Penny was very good. Lots of stage presence and their songs were pretty intense, even though I'm not much of a glam rock fan. The band Flight School wasn't bad either, nowhere near as good as The Expendables or Tomorrow's Bad Seed, but definitely not bad. All in all, amazing concert and I can't wait 'til The Expendables come back to the East coast!!!
awesome show, what a band! one of the best shows I've seen live.
This band is absolutely insane. Crowd, Venue, Music, all perfect. One of the best concerts i have ever been to.
Was a great show. Can't begin to explain what an awesome time it was there. Great pit( a large part do to my friends and I starting it up).
It was a pretty good show. Iration, Roots Down Below, Passafire, and Expendables all played and did an awesome job. They all kind of sounded the same, but it was worth the money I spent. All the bands were down to meet their fans and that's something I love when going to shows; actually meeting the members of talent. I had a good time.
FREAKING AWSOME LOVE THE BAND!love the other band named pasafire
Didn't even know who was going to open for The Expendables, and I was stoked to arrive to Passafire and Iration. Awesome tour guys, keep it up.
