Good show....full of energy. I already knew Charl Brown, but I felt totally connected to the rest of the members of the group...Dwayne Cooper is definitely the perfect one to 'engage the audience'. I will go see them over and over again; plus bring others with me. My husband and I were proud to be in the presence of such great entertainers!
From beginning to the end it was non-stop singing, dancing and music. Everyone from the musicians to the singers were multi-talented and fabulous. They entertained from the moment they got on stage to the very last chord. I had a grin on my face from ear to ear the whole time (which no one could see due to mask-wearing) and I was clapping, toe-tapping, and swaying the whole concert. It's a must-see for all who love doo-wop and the oldies but goodies with great dancing and comedic performances.
This show needs to be promoted more. I had no idea what I was really going to see, but thought my dad and husband would enjoy the doo wop tunes. I was pleasantly surprised, and I think I may have been the one who enjoyed it the most. Highly recommended for fans of Motown the Musical and Jersey Boys.
I love old time doo wop music and updated "doowopified" songs. The Doo Wop Project group was highly entertaining and I would recommend this show.
These guys really put on one heck of a show. Me and my Mrs enjoyed it from start to finish. If you like Goldie's and Oldies go see the Doowop project.. you won't regret it.
The Doo Wop project was so entertaining and kept us smiling and laughing the entire time. They all have beautiful and different voices that sound perfect together. I will be seeing them again next time they are in our area! 5 stars ⭐️
We al always enjoy our visits to the Uptown Theater. Staff are friendly and there’s not a bad seat in the house
Love the venue. These kids were talented performers, doing many old doo-wop songs and current popular songs that have been "doo-wop-ified" (Friends in Low Places in doo-wop style was a hoot!) The group actually seemed to be having fun on stage and sharing it with the audience.

If you get a chance to see the Doo Wop Project don’t miss it! Beautiful voices, great songs and fabulous musicians back them up. It was a great show!
The group was phenomenal! I highly recommend everyone attend if they come back to Grand Junction. Lots of energy and great stories from the performers.
It was a wonderful concert, we had a great time remember all the Doo Wop songs and the Doo Wop Project group was fantastic. Music memories are the BEST!
First thing, the show started 20 minutes late..so frustrating. We were disappointed in the beginning, people around us were saying "I thought this was rock and roll, "Doo Wop"! They took an early break, but the second half was terrific!! We enjoyed it very much, they have lots of energy
This was a great concert. They were so talented, personable and literally kept the audience entertained the entire time!! I will definitely be watching their tour schedule so I can attend another one of their concerts!!!
Loved the songs, presentation of them- want more! Everyone was tapping their toes throughout- one of the best we've seen in GJ-bravo!
Great performance. The music was great, the performers all were good. the personal touch of each added something special. Only 2 complaints: 1) our tickets were not cheap, but seats were - not enough leg space for me (6' 3" tall) and the seats are narrow like the airlines; 2) the majority of the audience was older. The sound system was pretty loud -- sometimes loud enough I couldn't understand all the song words. had this been today's modern music, i would not have been surprised. But the Do Wop and rock-n-roll of old was not near as loud and ugly as today's music.
This is one of the best concerts I've been to at The Avalon. The Doo-Wop Project provided not only good songs, but great entertainment that was Las Vegas-worthy. I took my 9 yr old grandson and my sister and we all had a lot of fun.
The Avalon Theater is a great venue for shows such as this.

I’ve been to about 20 concerts in the last year and this was my favorite, hands down! The music is fantastic and the energy is high and fun! Highly recommend!!!!
