  • Fun Experience

by Joy S on 12/29/24Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

The food was great and high quality. The experience was festive. My sibling and I had a really good time and really enjoyed it.

  • Disappointing

by Amy on 12/27/24Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5

When we got there we were greeted with a line outside in the cold. When we got seated, many of the desserts were gone with only a handful being refilled on the trays. At $30/person, I would expect at least the option of all the treats to chose from. The desserts we did try were just okay, nothing was overwhelming great. The atmosphere was nice and festive, but otherwise a disappointing event overall.

  • Great experience

by Ms C on 12/26/24Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great experience. Nice atmosphere. All the desserts were amazing. There were so many different desserts. My favorite was the cheesecake. Coffee bar and popcorn machine were a nice added addition. I would suggest small complimentary bottles of water at each table. Staff was very friendly. Photo option was nice as well. Hoping to go next year.

  • Not worth $40

by Monay on 12/26/24Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 2 out of 5

It has a good atmosphere and a Photo Booth. However, I was underwhelmed with the dessert choices. The hot chocolate, popcorn, and some desserts were great while others were overly sweet or did not taste good. Mainly great for children or teens who might not be care.

  • Timing is off in The Dessertery Hours

by Disappointed on 12/23/24Rating: 1 out of 5

Drove a distance to go to the afternoon Nutcracker Ballet. Had bought tickets to go to Dessertery afterwards. Nutcracker ended at 4 p.m. Found out Dessertery didn't open until 5:30 pm. Too cold to stand outside and wait! Suggestion: Sync your hours to the showtimes.

  • It was dessertastic

by Carla on 12/20/24Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Took a friend for his birthday to The Dessertery. We had the best time. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was so cozy and Christmassy. It is definitely worth the money. Everyone was so helpful. We got there a tad late because of traffic and they were very forgiving. There were people coming around to take your plates and offer you water. It was just wonderful. Highly recommend for any age.

  • Holiday tradition

by Mema the elf on 12/16/24Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

We look forward to this event at Christmas last year was our first year attending. Definitely now a holiday tradition. This year there were 15 in our group. Staff is always full of holiday cheer. The variety of desserts is wonderful.

  • Quality vs quantity.

by Boone on 12/16/24Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5

There was lots of desserts but overall quality was not great! If you have had dessert on a cruise at the buffet then this is pretty comparable. It was crowded and we had a party of 6 with a baby and still ended up at a table with two strangers. We loved the idea and the hot chocolate bar was our favorite. Santa came around to the tables which I thought was pretty neat! Overall we enjoyed it but I do feel like could be a few adjustments to seating, more room and quality of food. Glad we went, yes! Would we do it again, most likely not.
