This was a great show. The Delfonics were amazing.
Great stage presence. William Hart's has lost that high tenor voice to age. But the background singers were great! This was the worst 45 min performance the Delfonics has every given.
The show was very entertaining. I was a little disappointed that it only lasted for 1 hour but it was great for the time they were on stage. I would recommend to go see them perform if they are in your town. I'm giving 4 stars for the time.
Great Valentine's Day concert! Love those sweet old jams. Peaches and Herb were the best performers and they're love songs hit the spot. Midnight Star was awesome.
excellent. so many wonderful performers all at the same time
2.5 hours straight of Old School music followed by a 20 minute break and then Evelyn King and Midnight Star. Excellent show all around.
There were more than 8+ groups and Performers. They each put on a wonderful show. The concert was over 4 hours long.
Overall the show was very good! Was sorry the Floaters missed their flight and the ChiLites didn't do much...but the other groups were very entertaining and sounded good. Bloodstone had the truest sound...I felt like I was back in the 70s while they were performing. Thanks Bloodstone for taking me back!!!!
The concert was great they were all good I'll go back next year for sure..
All the singers and groups were good. But, I think the best was saved for last, as it was obvious that the crowd "came alive" when Evelyn Champagne King took the stage. There's only 4 months that separate Evelyn and I, both born in 1960. I was raised on her music and it shall be a part of me forever. And Midnight Star was really awesome too! I absolutely loved the show and am very thankful and appreciative that 94.7 The Wave put on this concert and pleased the "old school" genre, especially since those schnooks took 92.3 The Beat from us, with no notice. Old school lives!!!!!
My husband and I have been together for 20 years. We have gone to this show for the last three years and we will continue to go each year until the end. From the first song to the last song we did not stop dancing or singing to each other. Thank you for helping us remember why we feel in love with each other every single year.
"NATURAL HIGH" WAS A REAL NATURAL HIGH....LOVED THE SAX INSTRUMENTAL AT THE END...DID ANYONE RECORD IT? PLZ LET ME KNOW..IT WAS THE BEST INSTRUMENTAL!! PLZ POST IT!!
Delfonics , was the highlight of the night, great lineup, but had to leave early, it was weigh toooo cold in the venue.
Not only were the two opening acts excellent when the Delfonics took the stage they had the attention of every one in the Opera House. It was fantastic.
Felt like cross between amateur hour and karaoke bar. Really surprised opera house would host something this unprofessional . Have been to several concerts at Opera House that we enjoyed. Will read info more carefully next time!
The Love Jam was fantastic. Really enjoyed the Old school songs that you can sing along with. Great memories. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the event. Wished that there was a TV screen positioned along the walls so that you could visually see the performers face. Even with my camera zooming it was hard to see clearly. But all in all the music was awesome.
Amazing performers, no computer studio edit, just classic raw talent.
I saw artist that I thought I would never see perform, just oldies I heard on the radio.
Really enjoyed the concert. It bought back so many memories. I had so much fun dancing in my seat to the music.
The concert was everything we expected and then some! Concert events like THIS ONE need to keep being brought to San Antonio. The last event that I attended such as this one, was almost 15 years ago. All the performances were so awesome! My favorites were Peaches & Herb. Thank you for bringing these wonderful music memories our way.
