THE DEAD DAISIES IN CONCERT:

Australian-American hard rock outfit The Dead Daisies has been a touring juggernaut ever since forming in 2012, and their blitz continued in 2016 when KISS tapped them for their Freedom to Rock Tour. It's easy to see why KISS wanted the talented rockers along for the ride—every time The Dead Daisies take the stage, they conjure up arena rock's heyday with lighters-in-the-air performances that put powerful musicianship front and center. The band's rotating lineup features members of legendary hard rock groups like Mötley Crüe, Thin Lizzy, and Whitesnake, and the skilled showmanship The Dead Daises bring to the stage makes every performance crackle with live-wire energy. Ticket buyers looking to "Lock 'N' Load" with these hard rock vets can expect plenty of head-banging fun any time they kick out their anthemic tunes in concert.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The Dead Daisies was formed in 2012 by a group of seasoned hard rock players living in Los Angeles and Sydney, Australia. They recorded their self-titled debut in a mere two weeks and garnered critical acclaim almost immediately with the song "Lock 'N' Load", which was co-written with—and featured an epic guitar solo by—legendary Guns N' Roses axeman Slash. The band spent most of 2013 touring in support of big acts like ZZ Top, Aerosmith, and Jane's Addiction, and in early 2014 they embarked on their first headlining tour of Australia. By year's end they had added two successful US tours to their resume—one with Bad Company/Lynyrd Skynyrd and one with KISS/Def Leppard—and in 2015 they became the first western rock band to perform in Cuba since the Obama Administration reopened trade ties with the island nation (the band chronicled their Cuban adventures with the 2015 album and documentary film Revolución). With their aptly titled third album Make Some Noise generating big buzz in 2016, The Dead Daisies have fans everywhere ready to rock out to the new tunes at one of their hard-hitting live shows.

    Covid

by Electric Dave on 9/28/21Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Because of the risk with Covid I did not go and took the loss of two tickets. Instead the day of the show I got my third Moderna vaccination. No one in that venue wears masks and I wasn’t going to risk my life and health.

The Dead Daisies are one of the best live show bands out there to go see. They put on a fantastic and engaging show. If I could go to every show I would.

    LOVED The Dead Daisies!

    by scarlett503 on 9/4/18Chameleon Club - Lancaster

It's been quite a while since I have seen this band live, and I was very excited for the show. I arrived early, was the first one in line so that I could get to the rail. I wasn't disappointed. The guys came out roaring and didn't stop for nearly 90 minutes. They are so nice and accommodating to their fans, providing a meet and greet following the show for the first 50 people in the door. They signed posters, gave out guitar picks and were very fan friendly. I highly recommend this show.

    Had a blast!

by DistanceRider on 9/3/18Bogart's presented by Cricket Wireless - Cincinnati

I discovered the Dead Daisies when they opened for KISS a couple years ago. Was looking forward to seeing them again, and I wasn't disappointed. I will say that I could have done without the 2 local bands that played first. Dizzy Reed / Hookers and Blow were good, but the 2 local bands, while not bad, just meant a long time standing on concrete for someone with bad feet. I'm short so I like to be close! And I'd just as soon have skipped those. But the Dead Daisies were worth it; they had great energy and it was a wonderful show. I had a blast and will do it again any chance I get. As a nice bonus, the first 50 people in line (I think I was 6th) got a free Meet and Greet after the show. Nice guys as well as top notch musicians.

    Dead Daisies Rock!

    by ElizabethD8 on 9/3/18Chameleon Club - Lancaster

The band was great, lots of fun. The sound mix wasn't as great, but that's okay, we loved the band anyway, and we were near the front of the room, so one would hope the sound mix was better further from the stage. . Opening band Goat Skull Rebellion was a weird choice, since their music was a totally different style than the Daisies (and not a very good example of the GSR style either, to be frank).

    Incredible show!

by MC402 on 9/2/18Bogart's presented by Cricket Wireless - Cincinnati

The Dead Daisies show was incredible. A great rock band playing some great rock. Only complaint was that the sound system at Bogart's was sub-standard. Very hard to distinguish the guitars clearly, and really couldn't hear John Corabi's voice due to the overwhelming distortion of the overall sound.

    Dead Daises ROCK!!!

by TimA67 on 9/2/18Bogart's presented by Cricket Wireless - Cincinnati

The best kept secret in rock!!! These guys were simply AMAZING!!! Too small of a crowd, but to their defense, no local radio gives them any air play. This band should be much MUCH bigger in popularity. Don’ Pass up a chance to see them.

The Dead Daisies and The Masquerade, compassion!

by LeesSister on 8/25/17The Masquerade - Atlanta

A young adult girl with Down Syndrome (Moira) had trouble seeing the show. After swerving back and forth, side to side, she became visibly upset. One of The Masquerade staff witnessed this and took action: He led her (along with myself, Lee'sSister) to the front of the packed crowd and parked us on the seat of the barrier. Moira got to not only see the show, she really experienced the VIP treatment with kisses and guitar picks given by Mendoza, Aldrich and Lowry. As a person with special needs, she got the rare opportunity to really see a quality LIVE show.
