The Dan Band has carved a unique niche for itself at the intersection of music and comedy, combining equal parts humor and chops to achieve their pitch-perfect pop culture send-ups. Known for their histrionic, tongue-in-cheek covers of traditionally female-fronted power anthems, comedian Dan Finnerty and his hilarious backup duo have become a comedy circuit favorite and late-night talk show staple. The Dan Band is a live act first and foremost — their 2005 debut album was a live album — and there's no better way to experience them than on their 2014 tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The brainchild of actor and comedian Dan Finnerty, the Dan Band got their start in LA's comedy club scene, where they were hailed as the "hottest ticket in town" by Entertainment Weekly. After making several high-profile cameos in comedy blockbusters like The Wedding Planner (2001) and Old School (2003), the band released their 2005 debut album The Dan Band Live. The album was a hit, featuring parodies of pop culture subjects including Shakira ("Whenever Wherever/Hips Don't Lie") and bubblegum pop ("Genie In a Bottle/No Scrubs/Slave 4 U") and setting the tone for their future live shows. As the band hits the road for another gut-busting tour in 2014, no topic is off-limits, and fans wouldn't have it any other way.

The Dan band was awesome. It’s been the fifth year in a row going (Covid permitted) and it’s been a great experience every time. Dan’s Improv is second to none and his song performance with Eugene and matt are great hearing them every time. I strongly recommend checking them out!
Love the Dan Band. I've seen him the last few times he's been at Foxwoods. I would definitely see him again!!! Worth the money. I laugh hysterically every time.

A stand-up show/music act/comedy experience. Even if you only know them from The Hangover or Old School, they do so much more than sing Candy Shop and Total Eclipse of the Heart. I took my guy for his birthday, him being a bigger fan than I, not knowing what to expect and, I ended up laughing the entire time.
Dan Band never disappoints. They were on fire and the interaction with the crowd was the best I have ever seen.
Dan Finnerty's engagement with the audience is always a highlight of the Dan Band shows. Sitting close to the stage or in the aisle is a must!

Poo Live crew opened up the show and they were very entertaining. they played their versions of several genres of music and I really enjoyed them. then The Dan Band came out and started entertaining us very much. I wasn't expecting the 2 backup vocalists and dance routines. his lyrics are always fun!
The show was plagued with problems from the start. 20 minute technical delay, which made no sense because there was no opening band. The equipment should have been ready since sound check. Poor Dan was super sick. When he first came out his voice was so weak, he was sweaty and pale. We thought maybe he had become a washed up heroin addict. Dan explained to the crowd he was on death's door, but the show must go on. He muscled through the act and did a great job interacting with the crowd, very funny. The singing was painful to listen to. I would absolutely see the Dan Band again, because I would love to see them perform at 100%. The comedy A+, the singing D-.
It was amazing! Better than I could have ever expected! My face hurt from laughing so hard when we left! I would recommend this show to anyone who loves to laugh!

The Dan Band is the best combination of musical entertainment and comedy gold you’ll ever see. Dan Finnerty is the improvisation master as he hilariously tees off on the audience. Been to The Dan Band multiple times and it has never disappointed.
Best concert I’ve been to in years! I just went to cher in January paid over $600 and the Dan band concert was 100x more worth it!! Me and my husband went to The Dan Band concert on our 10th wedding anniversary 5/16/2019 and it was the best night ever! Thanks for a great time.
I did not know what to expect from these guys. I only knew of them from their cameos in movies doing cover songs. But they were just amazing. Crowd interactive, funny, compelling, tongue in cheek and just all around fun! Well worth the price of admission.
The Dan Band does not disappoint. They are very engaging and entertaining. So funny....I will go see them anytime anywhere.

What a great show! As a first timer to the bands live show I would have never suspected it to be as great as it was. The band really makes the crowd a part of the show. High energy and funny as could be. I laughed the whole night! Do not miss this show !!
