    Absolutely Amazing

by mcflyer54 on 11/2/18Kuss Auditorium at Clark State Performing Arts Center - Springfield

From start to finish “Choir of Man” entertains, entertains, entertains. And, just when you think you’ve seen it all, they entertain some more. These nine extremely talented men sing, dance, tell stories and play instruments. The presentation of all this talent takes place in a old fashioned Irish Pub. These blokes interact with each other as well as an occasional audience member. If you’ve ever had a neighborhood pub, bar or club you’ve frequented you will immediately feel at home. However, If you’ve never had a “hangout” you will immediately feel like a newly welcomed member of the family. Beyond a 30 second online video clip we had no real expectations of what was to come from “Choir of Man”. I can assure you that any expectations anyone arrived with would have been mightily exceeded. Each performer deserves their place on the stage. While the guys serve to backup, or add to, their fellow performer’s routine each of them, but as they each forward to center stage you’ll see the individual talent of each coming shining through. Do not miss an opportunity to see “Choir of Man” if they perform near you during their 1st American tour.

    Fantastic Show

by StPaul757 on 11/1/18DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

I was going to be in town for a doctors appointment and decided to buy tickets for this show rather than spend time in my hotel room. I hadn’t heard of this group but reading the reviews were interesting. So glad I went. The show was fantastic, funny and inspiring. I would go see them again!

    Energetic, Fun Performance

by TarHeel99 on 10/30/18DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

The Choir of Man brings an awesome show to the stage. Each of the nine singers has a unique voice that is highlighted through the set, while bringing beautiful harmony for the audience to enjoy. The craziness of having a bar on stage and beer drinking from start to finish was hilarious, as was the banter/interaction among the guys. There is one scene that will have you falling off your seat from laughter. It was super fun! With all that said, there were times when I would have liked a little less chatter and more singing. I went for the music.

Choir of Man was an unexpected surprise featuring audience participation, eclectic music choices, creative instrumation, as well as an over-arching existential message leaving everyone feeling uplifted and energized. The a capella numbers were also a highlight for me.

    Unexpectedly great and entertaining

by Bikas on 10/29/18Kuss Auditorium at Clark State Performing Arts Center - Springfield

I had no expectations for this show since I did not know anything about the show or had never heard of The Choir of Men before. This show was great and very entertaining. I would highly recommend it to anyone of any adult age. About 15 minutes before the scheduled show, they invited the audience on-stage. Once there, one of the cast members used the beer tap and provided a glass of beer to anyone who wanted it. We also mingled with the cast and got to know them and their history. Once that was done, the show started. It was narrated by the cast members as it progressed with great music and great songs by the group. Periodically during the show, they would invite some audience members on-stage to participate in the scenes. They even brought some beer into the audience to hand out at one point. The group had fantastic vocals with modern/recent songs throughout. This was a very entertaining show and they received a well deserved standing ovation at the end.

The Choir of Man - What a Great Experience!

by 53Vintage on 10/19/18Embassy Theatre - Fort Wayne

I saw this event on my weekly Ticketmaster email for what was happening in my area. I did a little research on the internet and decided it could be quite entertaining. That was an understatement! The Choir of Man is a group of nine young men, 8 of whom are Irish and 1 Scot. Each of them plays at least 1 instrument in addition to having wonderful voices. This is a broadway musical type production centered around a working pub, "The Jungle" (there's real beer shared with audience members). One of the cast members acts as narrator, introducing each cast member and setting the mood for the next segment, each featuring the voice of a different cast member in a style that was extremely entertaining. There's something for everyone; and you leave the theater feeling good about the world. We had a wonderful time and would go back to see them again!

Go see it -- totally worth the admission price!!!

by DavidS21 on 10/16/18Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

This show was one of the best I have seen in a LONG time. The nine guys from Ireland and the UK were likeable, sing well, funny, well choreographed and a bit "cheeky". They combine the theme of mates at a pub with song, dance, heart and comedy. They encourage audience participation in various ways: they go out into the audience, they take a few lucky souls on stage with them and they encourage the audience to clap and sing along, as well as do the wave. This show actually energized me. I would recommend the show to everyone. The tickets were well worth the price.

The Choir of Man was a rousing good time!

by SheilainSouthFL on 10/16/18Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

This was one of the most enjoyable evenings I've spent in a long time. The venue was beautiful, clean, and well kept. The set for the show was fun, well built, and felt like you were in a real pub. The Choir of Man was fantastic. Before the show with their friendly faces and welcoming attitude, you felt like you were just hanging out with friends enjoying the night. The show started with banter, laughs and the then singing started. It took my breath away to hear such wonderful voices from these young men. Such talent! Covering songs with their unique take and with minimum instruments, just their clear, strong beautiful voices. The cover of Hello was incredible. They were energetic, hilarious, they included you and made you feel like you never wanted the night to end. After the show, they were just regular lads showing appreciation by taking pictures, talking and thanking you for coming. I highly recommend this show and why it's not on Broadway yet, I have no idea but go see it before they hit the big time so you can say you saw them when. You won't find a better time!

    Great music, great venue

by IGoToConcerts333 on 10/16/18Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

Shows at PP are great. Good acoustics, relaxed fun venue, free parking, and no hassles. Choir of Men was very good, playing song we all knew and loved.
