Amazing show and a great personal feel venue. An fact the artist took time to visit with us fans as well. Love these smaller shows!

    Awesome

by Last one standing on 5/8/22Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

This show was absolutely freaking awesome!!! From the opening act THICK, to the second act the Mean Jeans, and of course the chats. They were all amazing acts and left it all on the stage for their audience.

    Excellent Performance and Line-up!

by Eddie L. on 5/5/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

The show was fantastic! Loved being introduced to Thick and Mean Jeans. The Chats put on an amazing show! High energy and great sound. Thankfully, we were right up front in the front row. Otherwise, we would have been pulled into the "action" of the large mosh pit. I'm too old for that. I'm glad the kids had fun, but they missed out on actually watching the band play. They could have just as easily put on a record and banged around the back yard with strangers. I was able to watch the show from the front row and did have to hang on for dear life at certain points. But, overall, we had a great time!

    COVID results and expensive beer

by Robot on 5/1/22The Cambridge Room at House Of Blues - Dallas

I’ll start by saying that the band was great. The sound at the venue was top-notch, and I’m glad venues in general have loosened up on pits. There were just a couple of things outside the show itself that were irritating. First, the ticket takers required COVID results for admission. We’ve been to numerous shows this year (2022), and this was the first time recently that we’ve seen such extreme measures. Luckily, we were able to find evidence of our March 2020 vaccines, but we were left wondering why this is required with all the information that states that vaccines have limited effectiveness over time. Given the length of time since we were vaccinated, our group and numerous others at the show could have easily been permitted into the show with active COVID. If the organizers truly care, I think recent evidence of a booster or negative test should be required. Unless some new evidence emerges showing that vaccines have long-term effectiveness for most of the population, I think the practice of requiring some form of vaccine evidence should be put aside. My second issue is with beer prices, which is not limited to House of Blues, but most corporate venues in Dallas. I asked for the cheapest beer offering, and the bartender produced a $13 Lone Star. I told several friends about this and the reaction was consistently shock. A beer of this caliber really shouldn’t cost more than $7 and that’s what I would expect to pay at most places. I think the mark-ups on alcohol in many Dallas music venues is horrendous, and these sort of business practices really end up hurting the business. There are several venues where I won’t see bands anymore because of these greedy business practices. It’s unfortunate that many fans choose not to see bands because of these practices.

    Punks not dead!

    by K. L. on 9/18/19

...It just went to Australia for an extended Holiday and now it's back. These guys are not only hilarious, their music is raw, loud, catchy and one of the most underrated punk rock bands in a cesspool of overproduced radio pop garbage and R&B crap. Keep kicking ass guys! You are singlehandedly saving rock n roll world-wide at the moment.
