GNR was great! The crowd wasn't.

by Barb18 on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

The people of there made this concert unenjoyable. Many were rude and offensive. Although GNR put on a great show, the people there almost ruined it.

    Rockfest was a blast

by raddroxx on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

HALESTORM was the band I'd been wanting to see for a long time. They KICKED A$$. Lzzy was amazing. Rockin' voice and bod. AreJay bangin' away on the drums and spinning 3 foot drum sticks. Reminded me of a Tommy Lee back in the day. Dig the haircolor choice! Joe smokin' on guitar and Josh pumpin' the bass. They will be Headlining soon. Btw, listen for them in the latest Bud Light commercial on tv. Also got to see Skillet, Bullet For My Valentine, Alice in Chains and Guns 'N Roses. Wonder how big GnR would be today if they could have stuck together throughout the years.

    G & R was bad A....

by rock2011 on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

The event was cool just as well as the venue. The headline bands of Alice in Chains and G & R rocked. Some of the undercard bands were pretty good but I think a couple more headline bands would have attracted a lot more rockers. I would have been willing to pay a little more for some more headline bands.....Overall I enjoyed very much and rocked hard. Some bleacher type seating would have also been nice.

Can not wait until next year! These bands all sounded fantastic live, and all of them together for such a great price is unbeatable!

Great bands but venue was misleading

by HollywoodBeej on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

This festival was in a huge parking lot. AT&T grounds was basically a huge parking lot. The bands were amazing and all but the experience not so much.

The band carried Axl... terrible venue setup

by GamblrGump on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

First time to see GnR and I enjoyed it! Axl had trouble with quite a few of his old songs but the guitarist and drummer drowned him out with some great riffs. Clutch, The Sword were amazing. Alice was good but thought Jerry Cantrell wasn't playing because he cut his hair off! The parking lot venue was short of food and port-a- potties. Toilets were completely full by 11pm which was gross. At least I got these tickets discounted which made up for the shortcomings of the event.

All bands were GREAT. Axl was not.

by tsez on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

Great lineup. All the bands hit it out of the park with the exception of GNR. It is time for Axl to hang it up. The band was good but the vocals were not. Axl, you should have stuck with it when you were relevant. Now you are just a sad, old, ex-rocker.

    River City Rockfest

by BillyBoy7777 on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

Bands were awesome especially Guns N Roses. Axl put on one hell of a show. they need to let coolers in next year so we all don't go broke buying water or beer. $8.00 for a beer and $2.00 for water. Ridiculous.

Alice in Chains and Guns n' Roses were great!!

by Frank31 on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

Both bands (Alice in Chains and Guns n' Roses) did great. Alice played for about one hour and a half and GnR for two and a half, which was pretty surprising considering that Axl is completely out of shape. Pretty good show; highly recommended!!! Entering and leaving the venue was really easy and getting a nice view of the stage was also possible without any effort. Location is not great but is convenient; easy access to highways and lot of parking available.

Only saw the concert at 6pm. Bullet for me Valentine was awesome. Alice in Chains by far in my opinion took the show. Their sound was amazing, stage presence was also amazing. Andthey played all their old songs perfectly. Guns and roses was lame just not at all what I expected

if you didnt come to party...

by OzzyZion on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

My biggest complaint is with my fellow attendees. I don't understand how someone would spend $75 for ticket, push their way to the front and then just stand and stare. Overall I found the mix of bands to be random to say the least. Scream-o, hard rock, Christian Rock, metal, stoner metal, grunge and an iconic 80s rock band. Maybe that is why the crowd was so lame, not enough diehard fans but instead just a bunch of concert goers. The worst was during Guns N Roses it seemed the majority of the crowd just stood around even during epic songs like WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE or IT'S SO EASY. Additionally, these same people are more interested in taking cellphone video rather than live in the moment and really enjoy themselves. I don't I think it is an unreasonable request that if you are up in the front row you give all your energy to enjoying the show. I hope the rest of the concert goers will one day realize that their videos come out shaky and the sound is terrible. just put your cell phone back in your pocket and live in the moment getting the bands as much energy and excitement as they are giving to us.

VIP section not worth it - bands were good though

by MonkeyFace22 on 5/28/13AT&T Center - San Antonio

I went to see Alice in Chains. Guns n' Roses was a bonus, although it was more out of curiosity. Alice rocked. GNR' was okay. I paid extra to sit in the VIP section, which basically meant we got to use the indoor bathrooms at the AT&T Center instead of the porta-potties.
