  • THE BRONX WANDERERS REVIEW

by Sandygirl14 on 5/31/16South Point Showroom at South Point Hotel Casino and Spa - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing! A few girlfriends and I flew in from chicago to see them perform in Las Vegas and it was so worth it. We got a suite at The South Point Casino Hotel and it was a great experience. This band is so good and you cant help but to sing along with them. If there was a dance floor there at the showroom I know people would be on thier feet dancing along with Lil Vinny. You have to go check them out.

I have had the pleasure of seeing this father/son group on more then one (1) occasion. They are a guaranteed feel good show. Totally entertaining, memory driven with music from the 50, 60, 70 and current standards. Don't hesitate to book reservations....excellent night out

  • The Bronx Wanderers - A Must Show

by Bob721 on 5/22/16North Shore Towers - Floral Park, NY - Floral ParkRating: 5 out of 5

We have been seeing The Bronx Wanderers from their humble beginnings in small clubs in the Bronx to now where they play large theaters across the country. We feel blessed to know this wonderful family act. They are great musicians and entertainers! Do not miss the show if you are in Las Vegas or they are in your town!

  • Ridiculously Great!

by ScottysUncle on 4/20/16Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

If you close your eyes (you won't want to), you would think you're listening to the actual artists. What a range of songs played and talent on the stage. Big Vinny has some very entertaining stories to set-up each song. We had a fantastic evening and can't wait for them to WANDER back to Jacksonville!

  • A Must See

by Walatash on 4/19/16Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic and enjoyable 2+ hours of entertainment. The lead singer (Vinny) sang numerous songs that you would have thought he was the original artist. A chance to reminisce with the 60s and a few songs that were later in the 70s and even the 2015 hit Uptown Funk.

  • The Bronx Wanderers Always are fantastic!

    by Monet1993 on 4/19/16Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We go to see The Bronx Wanderers every year when they come to Jacksonville. They put on a fabulous show every time we see them. We are from the Bronx, so it brings back many fond memories of growing up there. We love the talent of each of them and the energy and enthusiasm they give to every performance. We enjoy hearing some of the old Do Wop numbers as well as some of the current music they perform. You really get your monies worth out of buying tickets. We try to tell all our friends about them so they will go see them when they appear near them. We are glad they will be in Las Vegas as some of our West Coast friends might be able to go see them.

  • We had a Sock Hop for the Bronx Wanderers

Words cannot explain how good they are..YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM IN PERSON...God has given us old Poots a way to re-connect with the 50's and 60's and it's the Bronx Wanderers...Love Love Love them and will do all I can to bring an ARMY next year to see them....love the Florida Theatre...best acoustics in the world...AWESOME

  • Entertainment plus!

by VividDreams on 12/22/15Abdo New River Room at the Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

We were blown away; this is a very talented group of musicians at Ft. Lauderdale center for Performing Arts on December 19, 2015. The music selections included a mixture of 50's and 60's as well as some that were oriented to the 'sons' of the group. Very precise delivery using instruments and vocals were well polished. A very fun performance. Of all possible songs for a band to select, the Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen would be on a short list of most challenging, but this group nailed it! I picked up a t-shirt and wore it the next day. I'm a 61 year old singer; was so impressed with the energy level and we'll planned performance. We were entertained well beyond our expectations.

  • WOW!

by Denco1 on 12/22/15Abdo New River Room at the Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Papa Vinny, his two sons and their band mates are a smooth group that has a fantastic repertoire. Their BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY and UPTOWN FUNK covers had the crowd rocking. They are true old school performers whose talents are vastly underrated until folks catch them in person. They did a solid set just under two hours including an open where "Dad" read a BronxMas tale to the band who sat on the floor reacting like kids while he read. If they play your town, go buy a ticket and let them take you through the musical spectrum from Dion to Croce to Mars to Billy Joel.

  • Good laugh

Very enjoyable, very talented group. Would see them again in a heartbeat.

  • Bronx Wanderers Surprise

by bronxfan10 on 12/21/15Abdo New River Room at the Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I brought my husband, sister and pet sitter to this event. None of us expected what we got. Music from Queen, Elvis, Billy Joel and Dion, to mention a few. All the music was done perfectly. The talent was unbelievable, with phenomenal voices and the band playing each others instruments. I wanted everyone that I knew to see this. Great for all ages and anyone who appreciates great music. They should have been in the big room with a full audience.

  • Very Enjoyable and Entertaining

by HugeCCRFan on 11/14/15Palace Theater - GreensburgRating: 5 out of 5

DO NOT miss this group if they come to you area! Excellent show!!! They do 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and even some current songs and they perform them superbly. They even did Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, a song that most dare not try and they did it MORE than justice. In between songs a few stories are told and they were all interesting. A very, very enjoyable performance!!!

  • Another great show for all ages

by Penpalgal on 4/11/15Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This year's show was even better than the last time we saw the group a few years back. Loved the addition of some classic rock pieces. Great, versatile musicians, high energy and good crowd made for a really fun night!

  • What a show!!

by PCAB on 4/3/15Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Non-stop great music. We enjoyed every minute of the show, and want to see them again when they return.

  • Don't miss this group if you like oldies music

    by Filsam2 on 4/1/15Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I was one of those people who raised their hand when asked if we have heard of the Bronx Wanderers and I was skeptical that a group of mostly young guys could do justice to this kind of music. But I was dead wrong. These guys are great! And their harmonies are spot on. It was a very polished performance with lots of energy and a good selection of songs. The anecdotal moments and personal videos were a nice touch too.

  • The Bronx Wanderers are a Must See

    by Monet1993 on 4/1/15Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Having also been born in the Bronx, we were intrigued when we discovered they were coming into town a few years ago,and we try to get to see them whenever they are in town. The amount of talent in this group is amazing. I heard someone in the audience who said he was a drummer for years commenting about how Nicky is fantastic. We so enjoy the old music and the enthusiasm with which these young guys play it. We are happy to see Dad giving them some opportunities to branch out and do some of their stuff. I would encourage everyone to see them if they have a chance. You will have a great evening and never be disappointed!

  • Best I've seen in 69 years...!

by YeOldeCoach on 4/1/15Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I was lucky enough to have played in a Rock and Roll band in the 60's and even more luckier to hear twice a year Dick Clark's Caravan of Stars come to our college so I've heard them all. After retirement we traveled everywhere to hear the original 50's 60's acts and folks...from the set of two 57 Chevy's, to the Sha Na Na buildings Vinny and the Bronx Wanderers are the best cover group we've ever heard...I'd drive to Miami to hear them again, but I sure hope they return to Jacksonville as I plan on calling my old friends and enjoying the best night of Rock and Roll Classics I've ever heard. A family oriented emotional singing and playing toe tappin hand clappin get up in the isles and sing along 2 and 1/2 hours of solid performance. If tickets went on sale tomorrow I'd be the first in line to buy...I'm telling you mark it on the calendar when they return to Jacksonville or anywhere close by AND GO...you won't be disappointed...in fact they actually sounded better than some of the originals they did....to steal a line OH WHAT A NIGHT...Thank you Florida Theatre for a great performance and bringing an old man back to the 50's and 60's where MUSIC WAS MUSIC...Music is not what I do, It's who I am is on my wall and I relived it March 29,2015...AWESOME

  • by Anonymous on 4/1/15Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I very much enjoyed The Bronx Wanderers! Not only was the music well done, fun and very entertaining but the family aspect of the group was lovely. To hear their story, their music and see the camaraderie between all the members was very heartwarming. I definitely will try to see them again and hope that the Florida Theater in Jacksonville schedules them again.

  • AWESOME PERFORMANCE

I've was in a Rock and Roll Band in the 60's, got to hear them all with the Dick Clark Caravan and then when we retired went to see as many of the original artists of the 50's 60's that we could...the Bronx Wanderers, a family oriented group sounds better than the originals...had your foot tappin and your hands clappin for 2 1/2 hours of AWESOME music...I'm talking about a performance with heart and soul and most of all so happy to be together(would make for a good song title..ha) Do not miss the chance to see this group and we can't wait till they come back to Jacksonville and we're bringing all our friends for the best night of good music you'll hear...Just a AWESOME performance....thank you....Ye Olde Coach

  • A wonderful evening with a very talented family

by DissatisfiedTheatreGoer on 3/5/15Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - AventuraRating: 5 out of 5

This was a wonderful evening that we enjoyed with the Bronx Wonderers. Vinny the father was warm and charming and an excellent singer of the oldies that we remember so fondly. His two sons are incredibly talented. "Little" Vinny his oldest son is a bundle of energy, bouncing throughout the show, playing keyboard, and drums (when his younger brother was singing) and several other instruments very well. The youngest son Nicky is an incredible drummer, providing the hard beat to accompany and enhance all of the familiar songs. The family was joined by two additional and very accomplished musicians who complimented them seamlessly. At the end of this wonderful evening the entire audience gave the Bronx Wonderers a well deserved standing ovation.
