Great event, all three of us truly enjoyed the stage production. The PAC staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Very pleasant staff. Thank you.
All persons performed flawlessly. Hard to tell it wasn't Whitney.
The musical was great! The voice of the leader singer was phenomenal! The child actor has a great voice too! Can only imagine what he is going to be like in a few years. The songs are so well known, I found myself wanting to sing along to them all. It has been a long time since I've seen the movie so it was refreshing to see it in this format. Well done!
One night I will never forget. No words can describe what a wonderful musical this is.
Both my wife and I enjoyed every minute of the show. The acting, dancing, and music was excellent throughout. The gunshots in the dark before the curtains went up were a little surprising!
Show was well done. Every cast member did a great job.
This performance was excellent! The music was well done and a great reflection on the actual movie!
Magnificent, fabulous, extraordinary! Loved it. Great voices, great songs, great dancing. Full orchestra.
The show started late, presume due to technical difficulties, although never mentioned. It just abruptly started about 15 minutes late, taking most of the audience off guard. About a third of the way into it, there was an announcement of technical difficulties and show then just started up with no warning again. In fact, i was in the restroom so I missed probably 3-5 minutes of the show because it never announced it would resume. The Rachel and Nikki role could have been fabulous but they were off and didn't harmonize or were not in sync. I love the movie, love Whitney, and love Deborah Cox, but was not impressed. I think they did not have time to get in rehearsals before the opening night when I saw it.
The Bodyguard is a must see play. The cast is amazing. The songs are well known. The set is dynamic. For all you musical freaks treat yourself to a to an experience you will talk about for days.
The music is very moving and the acting is terrific !
We loved the show and did not care that the lead was the understudy the night we saw it. She was amazingly talented as well as entire cast. It was extremely well done with talent, humor, and followed the movie closely.
The performance overall was great. HOWEVER, I was disappointed that Debra Cox did not perform as advertised which the only reason for purchasing tickets. It should have been communicated with ticket holders in advance that Debra Cox was not performing on Sunday. This experience was a classic "bait and switch".
The stage adaptation was very close to the original movie from 1992. There were 16 of Whitney Houston's greatest hits worked into the stage version and they were performed by incredibly talented actresses and actors. Loved every single minute of this wonderful show!
My wife and I saw the touring company of "The Bodyguard" at the Orpheum in Minneapolis. I recall watching the movie with Whitney & Costner many times, and wondered how this would translate to the stage. It was wonderful - full of music and emotion. Great and talented actors, all of them! The music was great, but I did have some uncomfortable moments with the "gunshots" and bass rumbles throughout. We were close to the speakers, and it was SO loud. But I'm sure it had the correct effect on those not sitting next to the speakers. Really enjoyed the show, and the encore was SO fun!
Excellent singing and dancing. Very enjoyable, would see it again.
Overall it was good. The singing was very good, but wished Deborah Cox would have performed. The story line was a little over the board.
I purchased these tickets as a Christmas present for my brother. We have been fans of the bodyguard the movie since children. The musical had extra songs from Whitney Houston which was the ultimate bonus. This musical is great to see for singles, couples, and families.
Excellent! The singing acting everything was great. Deborah Cox was phenomenal.
would definately see this again, great production, love this show
