Donnie Baker was hilarious. I enjoyed the show and Christie Lee was a great host.
The night was filled with tons of laughter from a great variety of comedians: Drew Hastings with his dry wit and wickedly cruel observations; Tim Bedore and his wonderful play on animals and parenting; Mike Armstrong with his infectious laugh and marital advice (not!); and Halli Borgfjord, a new local guy, with great 'youthful' observations on life. Kristi Lee started the side splitting event with a round of single parenting on her two daughters...full of fun and typical teenage antics..and sparkled as the Bob and Tom representative for the tour. I highly recommend seeing any of these seasoned and unseasoned comedians for laughter so hardy that your face will hurt the next day! Mona
The comedians were great-well worth the $. Had me laughing for 2+ hours!!
I'm a HUGE Chick McGee fan and got to meet him in person & get my picture taken with him and get an autograph, too! Tommy, Drew and Tim were all very funny and I had an awesome time. I saw Drew Hastings before and he did a super job both times I saw him. He's my favorite comedian. The Dow Event Center is a nice building and everyone was nice and accommodating. I was very pleased that Chick and all the comedians took the time to stay after the show and let their fans meet them and get pictures and autographs. Thank you, guys! You made my day!
This a a fantastic venue for any show and is always a pleasure to here. The show was hilarious from the get go with Henry Phillips warming up the crowd only to be followed by a fantastic Donnie Baker. Drew Hastings followed with on style of American angst and now Midwestern rural culture, this was in no way a seg-way for our next comedian and crazy dude Greg Hahn. This was such an high energy performance devoid of riddling, this man is on fire, I have seen him a few times but for my wife and two older boys this was their first encounter and boy did they love it. They were in stitches during the show and long after, it's not every day you go to a comedy show and learn so many new interviewing skills " will have to try them out". Totally enjoyable night which as a family we can laugh at for some time to come. Thank You
Ok this was my 4th Bob and Tom Comedy show and my boyfriends 1st. I've never seen Henry Phillips, Greg Hahn or Drew Hastings live so I was super excited. I've seen Donnie Baker several times and I knew what to expect but last Friday night he was just awful. He was beyond either wasted or caring how the show went. He was not funny. I was truly disappointed and embarrassed that I had spoken so highly of him and his obnoxiousness to my bf and him just be a complete let down. I don't think my bf laughed once during his time on stage. Greg Hahn was just spastic and couldn't stand still. It was tiring just watching him. He wasn't at his true form either. It was kind of sad. Drew Hastings and Henry Phillips just absolutely stole the show! I've listened to Drew on the radio for many years and finally getting to see him live was awesome. They both were everything I had hoped for in a comedy show. While I love Bob and Tom and their comedy shows I will not look forward to Donnie Baker and Greg Hahn if they're in the line up. I have to say tho, Stockton's Fox Theater was breathtakingly beautiful and has been perfectly restored to its former glory. Loved that.
We had such a great time at the Bob and Tom comedy show at the Bob Hope Theater in Stockton! I listen to the Bob and Tom show on my way to work each day while my wife rarely listens. Henry Philips was good, but his act was a little slow at times... Donnie Baker was funnier if you have listened to him on the show before, but my wife still thought he was funny! Drew Hastings - one of my favorites from the show... He was halarious although he repeated several bits from his Irked and Miffed show that we saw a few years ago. To our suprise, Greg Hahn stole the show! My wife thought that he had the energy of an 8 year old with ADHD, after 5 hour energy drinks! He was bouncing off the walls! He had very funny material and the audience loved him! We cant wait for the next Bob and Tom Show to come back around.
Nevermind laughing, I couldn't understand much of what they were saying.
3rd time seeing the show. Never Disappointed! Would See it again!
I really liked the first comedian on stage, Henry Phillips and of course, Drew Hastings was a blast! I have to be in the mood for Donny Baker but fortunately I was and he was on a roll Friday night. I'm sorry, I know there are a lot of people out there who LOVE Greg Hahn but I can't stand that kind of slapstick comedy. You can barely understand the guy and I just don't find him funny. I would have rather seen him at the beginning of the show and left on a high note with Drew Hasting's performance. Just my opinion....
4 really good comedians in completly different ways. Great venue. But, there was no MC. Really odd. When the last comedian, a VERY energetic Gred Hahn, finished his set and left the stage, the lights came up and everyone just sat there asking if the show was over. Really strange without an MC.
Great show, funny, nice theatre, great staff. great seats.
