I hate to say it, but it wasn't good. My boyfriend and I drove 4 hours to see the show and left at intermission. Just wasn't funny. I know improve comics can have an off night, but 75% of it was scripted and that was the worst part. I am still kind of scratching my head. The rest of the audience seemed to enjoy themselves, but I think the average age was late 50s/early 60s. My boyfriend and I are early 30s, big SNL fans, and familiar with Second City, but it wasn't funny to us. Again, I hate saying that, but it ended up being a waste of money.

Very funny show, moves right along, next thing you know it's over. The "Pictionary" skit is hilarious.

Went to The Best of Second City at the Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre and thought the show and cast were fabulous! Laugh through the entire show. Can't wait to go again when it's in the area.

i thought the show was great. i brought eight other people with me and we were all laughing out loud! the cast was fantastic.

Only thing I did not like was the sound system I did not catch all the punch lines !

For whatever reason, I thought the show was going to be a series of stand-up comedians performing solo acts. I was pleasantly surprised to find the show to be a series of sketches with a bit of improv. Every single act made me laugh, especially the one urging people to get out and vote. I called my sister during intermission to tell her how great the show was and posted two thumbs up on facebook as soon as I got home. I will definitely catch this show again next time it comes to town!

I really am not sure how to review this. My husband and I both had a very hard time understanding what the cast was saying during this show. I'm not sure if it was the way they were speaking (maybe too close to the mic) or if it was the sound system at the theater. A lot of people did seem to really enjoy it. Maybe we were just in an odd spot and couldn't hear well??

had high expectations, with Second City's reputation. Met expectations and more. Great comedy both improv and sketch.

Love this group...2nd time I've seen them and they are just fantastic. Roared at the jokes, loved their skits.

What a fun(ny) evening. Started out with martinis and appetizers at Montalvo, then on to "The Best of Second City." They were fresh, relevant, very funny. Good blend of scripted humor, improv and even audience participation. I would do it again.
