The Ben Folds Orchestra Experience Tickets

While it took a while for the crowd to warm up, Ben Folds eventually won them over in the first act, then proceeded to melt their faces off with the second act. I have never heard an orchestra make sounds the way he had them making sounds. I asked my thirteen year old son "How do you think he's gonna handle the crashing changes in Narcolepsy?" And he replied "I think he's gonna crash the orchestra." Which he did, and it made an incredible noise, echoing off the buildings of downtown Columbus. Just a blast. Well done, Ben Folds.

The sound quality was horrible. We left at intermission. Waste of money.

The Ben Folds orchestral concert was an absolutely incredible experience. A fascinating entertainer and a brilliant musician. His ability to blend his contemporary sound into a classical sound with the orchestra was unforgettable. The outdoor venue added to the ambiance of this memorable evening. Arguably one of the best concerts I've ever attended. Well worth the money to splurge for the best seats!

He was fantastic. The CSO does such a great job of picking great talents of stage and that setting for these shows and it is always a wonderful evening. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that there needs to be more restrooms. It is sunny and warm - people hydrating properly necessitate more restrooms.

That was amazing. I wish I knew more what to expect from the venue. "Lawn" seating at this venue means chairs, small fold up tables, wine, beer, coolers, and anything else you want that does not obstruct the view behind you (No umbrellas, for example). It is like a weird party, but in a god way. My wife and I got there early and it was already getting full, so arrive early. Ben Folds was amazing as always. He "Rocked this bitch" orchestral style. 5 Stars plus. I will def go back for other events in the Picnic with the Pops series.
