Freedom Hall is in my hometown. I was excited to go to the basketball tournament. But the quality of the sound is absolutely horrible. You couldn’t hear hardly anything the announcers were saying—- it was all muffled… terrible speaker system. They had a nice tribute to Denny Crum, but you couldn’t hear any of it because of the sound quality and terrible speakers. would not attend another event here unless I knew they had changed this
Man the game was so live. I thought I was at a college game. The Louisville game.
I purchased these tickets for me and mom, and I'm so glad I did. We had floor seats, so we didn't miss a thing! We also got to meet and greet Russ Smith and that was awesome! This game was an intense one, both teams played their butts off but luckily Louisville won this game. My only critique is that the food we paid for was not cheap, yet it was all pre-made so it wasn't freshly cooked. If I spend $13 on a burger it should be freshly made.
The atmosphere for the Ville's games were electric. I'm was like a March Madness game. Freedom Hall, while iconic needs renovations. The seats were too small and no leg room whatsoever for talking fans. Overall it was a good experience.
Admission at the door seemed disorganized. Turnstiles would have helped. Also heard other people mentioning limited selection at concession stands. I didn't go to concessions though.
It was an excellent experience and event. Would recommend to anyone to attend.
Forgot how fun basketball could be! Great to see some of my favorite players. Only bad part was standing in the heat for 20 minutes waiting to get through the doors. Would have gone faster with regular tickets. Freedom Hall obviously couldn’t handle electronic tickets AND security. Ugh!
Event was great, Freedom Hall was not. Parking was horrible, took 30 minutes to get into the event because they were not prepared for the turnout. Every concession was only staffed with one person so if you wanted a refreshment it meant spending another 30 minutes in line. Very disappointing in the a place that has such a great history. Loved being at the game but will not go again useless it changes venues.
Lots of fun. Good basketball. Very interesting format to tournament. Really liked the Elam finish.
Everything was great! Game terrific! Did have limited concession stand offerings with only one person per stand and entry to game was horrible 98 plus degrees and had to wait in line for. 45 minutes due to have limited workers to scan tickets. Even those these two things were a pain in the butt I had great time when finally in arena and got water to try and cool off.

Scanning on entry way too slow. Tickets overpriced. Event itself was exciting and fun.
I attended The Ville 1st round session. This was true Louisville Basketball. So much excitement in the air and cardinal fans as always, the best. Go Cards! Continue to push with excellence. Go get the big game.
The event was sooooooo great and so much fun! It brought back such great memories of U of L basketball under coach Pitino. The food choices were wonderful but the venue itself was very dirty and outdated. Freedom Hall definitely needs to be renovated. Next years event should be at the KFC YUM center. All that being said it was great fun!!!!

The ability to get in to see the game was terrible. We showed up 20 minutes before tip off. Parked and the. Stood in a line to get in to the Arena. By the time we finally got inside and to our seats there was only 4 minutes left in the second quarter. This was planned out poorly. Once inside I enjoyed the game and the seats were nice
Great game for the local team. Hope they go on to win the tournament.

Ticketmaster should have communicated to me that the seats I was buying in section 204 in the Oncenter (Syr) had a severe obstruction. My seats were under an awning and we could not see the large replay screen above the court. This means we missed ALL replays, graphics to the game and the display of the target score for the ELAM ending to the game. Those are the things I know I missed.....I'm sure there was more. This was very disappointing because my family could've sat in other seats for the same price. No mention of this obstruction when I was purchasing these tickets. Very dissatisfied.
As a UD Flyer alum it was so great to see so many former flyers on the Red Scare team. To almost make it to the finals was even sweeter. I especially like the Elam Ending. The other teams that played in Dayton were very talented as well and provided exciting basketball.
