Chiodos, Circa Survive, Say Anything, AFI! Awesome

by Ahrima on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

I got tickets to Bamboozle for these 4 bands, and they didn't disappoint. They were all awesome, even though Anthony Green seemed like he was on shrooms or something. We also checked out some of the less well-known bands on the two side stages and there were two notables: All Day the Holiday and The Fall of Troy. All Day the Holiday sounds a little like Death Cab for Cutie, and The Fall of Troy sounds like Chiodos. And I almost forgot one of the best parts: signings. Though I missed getting Anthony Green to sign something for me, I did get Forgive Durden's frontman Thomas Dutton to sign my copy of Razia's Shadow. Overall it was a very awesome day! $20 for parking, though. Boo!

    AVA & AFI

by Bajanator on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

Ok so I love the AVA's performance I hope they come back next year! & I also I wish Blink play next year too! AFI was great performing but some reason the audio seems messed up I couldnt hear the Bass & Lead Guitar was cutting in and out like it's Phasing! Maybe because it was windy! and I keep looking on the Speaker it keeps moving!... But Oer ALL I LOVE IT THANK YOU I AM COMING BACK AGAIN!

    AFI was incredible

by keight on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

AFI rocked the stage so hard. Davey was so on! They played a goot amount of their old stuff and kept crash love to a minimum which is awesome because their old stuff rocks so much harder. Angels and Airwaves was awesome too. Tom's voice was really on. David looked so epic with his leather jacket and hair blowing in the breeze!

    Circa Survive ftw

by idgara on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

Overall the performances were great. I had no complaints about the set list because they were all bands I personally enjoyed. Water shouldn't cost $5 though. That's ridiculous.

Best Outdoor Venue I Have Attended In 5 Years!

by Ciaomommi on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

We have some new favorites after this festival...Jonny Craig and Chase threw it down! The band we traveled to Anaheim to see are our friends from Texas-Disco Curtis.Remember their name because you will be seeing them at the major music awards shows in a few years as nominees/recipients!!!! The most amazingly talented musicians for their age I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.Wow! these guys have got IT!

Overall the performance was amazing. Chiodos made a great performance. AFI came out with amazing energy. Every single song was phenomenal. Davey Havok's energy was seen in every single movement. Bamboozle was awsome.

Not as good as previous years...

by sandshrew on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

This year's Saturday Bamboozle was so-so. It wasn't as good as previous years, mainly because of the venue changed? The whole entire layout was a lot different. Last year, the two main stages were placed right next to each other, so that when one band finished, the other one would start right away. Plus, Wonka and Monster were sponsors, so there was A LOT of FREE candy and monster drinks. In addition to that, there were a couple of carnival rides that made the whole entire experience a little more fun. This year however, Red Bull and zumiez seemed to be the main sponsors. When I went into the Red Bull Tent, I expected there to be free drinks, but it turns out you had to pay 5 bucks a can. This year's stages were all separated, so people had to walk a distance to get from stage to stage... so the two smaller stages usually ended up with a lot less people than the main stage... no carnival rides this year either. But Fall of Troy rocked hard this year. Great performance by them. I think Pierce the Veil was pretty good too. AFI was pretty cool, but they started 20 minutes late and left 10 minutes early. Kind of lame actually. All in all, it was just an okay bamboozle.

    Bamboozle Left 2010

by watamireading on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

Was kind of disappointed with this year's lineup and the size of the festival. The other Bamboozle festival in New Jersey has a HUGE lineup where we had very little. Bamboozle Left 2009 had a bigger and just overall better lineup with 6(I think) stages. This year, the lineup was not that great and they went from 6 stages the previous year to only 3. Ticket prices and food prices were definitely ridiculous and way too expensive. Though there were a lot of downsides, it was still fun. Better luck next year Bamboozle!

ANGELS AND AIRWAVES was AWESOME! AFI INSANLEY ROCKED! however rest of the band sucked. and what I hated the most is that venue was cash only so I was pretty pissed off because I only had cards at that time. I wish they've told us before hand. The reason why I'm going 4 stars is because of AFI and Angels and Airwaves.

    AFI

by kwabina on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

I'm probably not qualified to rate the entire event. I went to see AFI. I watched some of the other performers but mostly they were just ok. AFI rocked though.

The Fall of Troy did work!!!

by Conyuh on 3/28/10Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim

Overall, this was an amazing show. All the bands I watched performed very well and the crowd was always super enthusiastic. I was mainly there to see TFOT in one of their last shows together and they were better than the other times I've see em by far! Great show, great crowd.
