Awesome - brought me back to the day I saw the actual Bee Gees at the Chicago Stadium!
The Australian Bee Gee Show at Water Tower Place Playhouse was nothing short of fantastic. The band was great and the "Bee Gees " were tremendous. It was obvious that very talented individuals worked extremely hard to capture the original look and feel of the iconic group.I would highly recommend this show to anyone of any age.
My husband is an avid Bee Gees fan and he was surprised at how close the vocals were. The four of us at the show had a very good time. It was worth the trip to Chicago.
It a great show. It was like the Bee Gees came back from the dead. very real. great costumes and show!!!
Excellent performance - I would highly recommend this show to anyone that is a Bee Gees fan!
My friend and I really enjoyed singing along with the Bee Gees. I'm a huge fan and it did give me a thrill to hear the music. The guys give a good impression of the Bee Gee's and their relationship/playfulness with each other. It's a fun show.
The performers were excellent with high energy and realistically sounded like the Bee Gees. Very talented and very good songs selected. Band and venue were excellent.
Not much history of the Bee Gees here, except in overhead pictures and a bit of narrative sound bites, but, oh, boy, is there MUSIC! If you remember the brothers' early years, there's some lovely retrospection to their 70s hits, which I, for one, swooned over. There's a passing nod to their writing for other artists, which I could have lived without, but that's just me. The part worth the price of admission is, of course, the disco years. I spent a solid chunk of this extended set dancing, dancing, dancing. There's the occasional nod-and-a-wink to the slightly broken fourth wall, which makes it even more fun. I'm thinking of seeing it again before it closes, just for the sheer pleasure of it. It ain't High Art, folks. It is, however, a heck of a lot of fun. :-)
The Australian Bee Gees show was great. It was the closest I'd ever get to seeing the original Bee Gees. The sounds and looks were right on. I loved their videos and costume changes. Everyone at the show had a wonderful time!
Show was very entertaining. The guys looked remarkably similar to the real Gibb Brothers. Sounded just like them also. The group engaged the audience. Everyone clapped, sang and danced. My husband thought it was great. Fun evening.
This group had us up clapping, singing and dancing for 1/2 the second act .
This was bad karaoke. The actors tried to resemble the Bee Gees through long hair and overdone accents but missed the mark. That could have been overlooked if their singing had been up to par, but sadly they weren't able to do justice to the Bee Gees music. We left at intermission.
It es pretty good, venue place comfortable for all.
My husband and I really enjoyed this show. The music was great, and the actors did a fantastic job of portraying the Bee Gees. It's almost like we can now say that we have actually seen them live!
I set this up for my granddaughter and I and I had taken her mother to one 35 years again. It was great.
Excellent but thought it could use a little more dialogue about the BeeGees.
It was pretty good. I would recommend it to others.
Don't miss this show! Spot on talent. We were dancing in the aisles.!!
They were very authentic. Great voices and good performers. Took me back to the good old days when music was music.
Loved the playfulness &perfect vocals. "Barry" sang to me so many times. Guess sitting front & center has its advantages. Do not miss this show. I already bought a ticket for the 24th. Once was not enough.
