Great venue, great show. The venue was large and aesthetically pleasing. The Antlers sounded even better live and they were very nice, as well as the opener, Little Scream. The crowd was really laid back too.
Amazing show and Little Scream was great also. Loved the meet and greet after the show. Very laid back and fun. Magic stick was great venue for this kind of music.
The Antlers put on a damn good show. Great stage presence and the cohesiveness of the band is very apparent from the audience. Great performers and some extremely talented musicians. Awesome show.
Really great show, lots of energy and passion. This is the kind of music you can just lose yourself to. The band does a great job changing up live versions of songs, with heavier bass, lots of jamming, and Peter's vocals are simply amazing live. If you get a chance to check out this band you won't be disappointed. If you havent heard their songs before they're a lot like Radiohead and TVOTR, very emotional songs that can take you from low to high.
I decided to attend this concert after reading one glowing review of their latest album, "Burst Apart". I had downloaded the album, too, and I think the first night I listened to it four times in a row. I did this with only one other band, The Walkmen, and in both cases I was not disappointed in either the album or their performance. Beautiful, atmospheric shoegazery rockin' out.
this show was AMAZING! I will definitely see The Antlers again.
Had a great time. But they never sent me my tickets. So a day before I had to email them and they set up my tickets at will call. BUT I never got a hard copy of the tickets, which is what I wanted. So i was upset about that!
The show is great however, I would wish they can start on time or give an exact show schedule. So we know when it's gonna start and end.
This was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. They played a great mix of new and old and I was able to get to the front easily with no pushing even though it was sold out. If you ever get the chance to see these guys live, do yourself a favor and buy some tickets. Watching The Antlers create there wonderful sound live on stage was a truelly unforgettable experience.
This was my fifth time seeing The Antlers, and they always put on an unforgettable show. The songs come to life in an incredible way. Their album is beautiful and delicate, but the live performance is significantly heavier... over an hour pure chills. I've seen many bands lately and The Antlers are by far my favorite act out there right now.
great bands, great sound, great music, great night.
The Antlers were amazing. Wonderful stage presence. Overall incendiary performance.
I wish Phantogram would have been given a longer set. They had a lot of fans there, and plenty of other songs they wanted to hear! I didn't even know who the Antlers were when I bought my ticket, but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely going to have to keep track of them in the future.
I am a huge fans on the antlers. i like their whole album, it's one of most played album on my itunes. However they changed the arrangement in concert so that they sound more like American rock bands (like Greenday). I have a lot problem with the drummer. I seriously think the Antlers miss their chance of being heard or being a successful rock band because they change who they are. I did get glimpses or raw emotions here and now, but every time the drummer, it just changed the whole concept of the songs (and albums). I have uploaded 2 minutes of the antlers performance on the song two in youtube. Look at the song, and tell me if you agree or not.
It was a great show! I have not seen The Antlers live before, so that even made it more special. The venue is amazing so is the sound system!
Have seen them once before, at Maxwells a few months prior to this show. Their sound has become more polished and glam, with a few extra hooks thrown in. It seems almost as though they are grooming for arena greatness, which they richly deserve, but it does make their sound a tad more commercial. All in all, an awesome band, and well worth seeing.
they should have just stayed more true to their recorded album. the concert was just a bit too adventerous and loud.
Wow. I was so impressed. They sounded amazing and the Bowery ballroom was the perfect venue for them. So happy I got to see them live.bo
The Antlers played the newly remodeled Majestic Cafe, which is an amazing space! Great atmosphere for the type of music. The opener Holly Miranda had an amazing voice! Highly recommend going to see this show!
