The McElroys will always give you comedy and fun. I will see them every time they are in town.
I bought tickets for myself with a couple of my friends and I had a blast seeing the boys in real life. Everyone was polite and friendly and I had an overall good time.
I can't decide if this was more of a crunchy or soggy performance, but was great either way.
Everything about the show was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good comedy podcast. McElroy's never fail to inspire and amuse. Having now seen two MBMBAM's and one TAZ, I can feel that TAZ is much more of a live spectacle to behold, and would recommend any fan try it out at least once. TAZ live has really come into its own with Lasers & Feelings, which allows for a perfect amount of Game Master story shenanigans and funny, inspired character actions. The venue was a little strict on security. My friend had her iPad confiscated, but they didn't have a concrete method for checking the tablet into security, just one guy remembering her name. Seems a little unsafe of an offering, especially if I have to park in a public space downtown to attend, I certainly would rather bring my expensive devices with me from my car and check them in than leave it behind.
The McElroy’s never stop surprising me. Each show is fantastic and stands on its own. It’s different from practically any other theater experience. They weave a story that keeps your attention the whole time, and it’s filled with humor that sometimes leaves you breathless.
I love the “The Adventure Zone” podcast so seeing that they were going to be live here in Cincy was a dream come true! And it lived up to all of the hype! I had a blast, I laughed so hard that even days later my throat is still sore. My only regret was not going to see “My Brother, My Brother, and Me” the day before!
My daughter and I are big fans of the McElroy's and especially TAZ! The show was hilarious and I can't wait to hear it again on the pod cast. The only complaint we had was there was not much in the way of merch. We were hoping for at least pins/patches from Amnesity and Graduation. Not a fan of online buying. That is the only reason it is not 5 stars.
Everything a fan could’ve hoped for and more!! Justin CM-ed and it was hilarious, can’t wait to listen to this again when it comes out!!
I went with a friend who doesn't even listen to The Adventure Zone and we both had such a blast! Our seats were great, the show was great, it was an awesome time all around! The only thing that I could really complain about is that the tickets said the show started at 7 but it was more like doors opened at 7 and the show started at 7:30. That's not even a huge deal but just the theatre major in me. It was such a fun show and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
The Mcelroy brothers as always were charming and hilarious. Taft theater was a great venue and all the staff was professional and helpful.
This was a fantastic show with a great game played. Everyone was hilarious and there wwre even some stunning surprizes.
I'm so pleased I managed to get tickets to this show. The McElroys are a talented and creative family who bring their A-game every time. It was well worth the long drive to see them in person.
The guys never fail to amaze me! This live show was no different! I had so much fun seeing them live! The venue was beautiful, comfortable and accommodating. No complaints! Would definitely see the Adventure Zone live again and would attend another performance at the Chicago Theatre!
The show was hilarious! I was laughing so much my cheeks hurt by the end of the night. I really hope Chicago gets more love in the future from the McElroy family because I am already waiting for their next tour! As for the venue: Beautiful theater! Seats were okay - little cramped but that was expected. Security was quick and easy to get through and left us with plenty of time to make bathroom breaks, check out the merch and get to our seats before the show started.
Absolutely loved the venue, gorgeous historic theatre. Tons of people dressed up in cosplay lots, extraordinary performance by the McElroy boys and their father.
I love the podcast so much but somehow the live show managed to be so much better! Plus the venue was great and moved pretty quickly even though it was packed.
These good, good boys put on a heck of a show! It was even better than I expected! It was so wonderful to see them and we had a great time!
The show was fantastic!!! It's exactly what any fan of the McElroy's would expect from them! The boys shine live, just as much as they do on the podcast. 10000% intend to be seeing them again the next time they come through Chicago.
A really fun night, I laughed until I cried! I'm very glad to have gone
