It was a lot of fun. The artists had the mannerisms, voice inflections, and singing styles perfected. If they come back to the Covelli Center, we will be there, but this time with family and friends

Dean Martin impersonation - Fun Nite !!

by reginold on 12/2/09Covelli Centre (formerly Chevrolet Centre) - Youngstown

Set up cabaret style. Round tables of eight people. Really nice layout. Candles and centerpiece on the table. Show included small bottle of wine and very nice cheese and fruit plate for each person. Real quality !! My mom & I really enjoyed the show. All the old favorites by Dean Martin. Mark Adams does a great Dean Martin. Also had some guests appear: Nat King Cole and several other old time women performers. Also included the Gold Diggers show girls. Las Vegas type show. The band itself was also very good. Included piano, drums, bass, guitar, and keyboards. It was a very enjoyable evening.

some real good impersonations of Dean and Nat King Cole. Some songs brought back memories of the real thing. The gold diggers were above average

    Dean's "friends" made the show!

by tg1234 on 11/28/09Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

While Dean was good, not great, but pretty darn good, his "friends" were great. The singer who portrayed Nat King Cole is an amazing singer and performer. The Golddiggers were a great compliment to Dean's songs and doubled as "friends". The signer who portrayed Peggy Lee was probably better than Peggy herself! Overall, it was a very good show. Started a little slow but really picked up. Before and after the half way mark was where the show was at its best. I would rate this show slightly better than the Rat Pack is Back.
