Texas Kickoff Tickets

The game itself was very poorly played, neither team looked even remotely ready to play. Take away a few big plays and the rest of the game was trash. Then the Papa Johns coupon was worthless, We got in line for pizza as halftime ended and they proceeded to run out of pizza immediately and by the time we received the "cold nasty" pizzas there was 7 minutes left in the third quarter. Reliant needs to get their act together, this was ridiculous.

The game was great in a wonderful stadium with all the employees being very nice and helpful. The only negative was the sound system at NRG. They really need to upgrade. We could not understand anything the PA announcer said. Overall though, we enjoyed it very much.

The venue was not set up for us to use our phones to get the package deal we had bought. We had to go to customer service and the line was very long. Then, the venue ran out of pizza and when we returned later all that was available was cheese.

The NRG stadium is the best I've been to. Getting in and out was very good, seats good outstanding value (my team lost..oh well). Looking forward to going again!

My group of 12 purchased nosebleed tickets that included a free pizza. We got to the venue and missed kickoff because they had undersold and wanted to move everyone closer so the cameras wouldn't capture how empty the stadium was. That's normally great news, until we had to wait 20 minutes for the vendors to find 12 tickets that were together in a closer section. I think prior notice or automated reassignment would have greatly helped this process. There were tons of people waiting for the "guy" to bring more tickets, with hopes that they could sit with the people they'd planned to for weeks. Additionally, Papa Johns seemed to have only about 10 pizzas available every 30 minutes. We had to wait about 45 minutes before half of my group could get their free pizza and drink, only for the rest of us to be told that they were out of pizzas, but we could have another item. This entire event seemed poorly planned and poorly executed. Seems as if ticket prices would have dropped at some point considering that it was a college game between 2 unranked teams with fanbases that would have to travel many hours to come support. Even better, the upgrades should have been issued days prior to the event to ensure seamless entry instead of the chaos that actually occurred. The stadium was nice and the game was great. I just didn't like the aforementioned, hence the 3 star review.

Buying the tickets that included two beers and a hot dog ended up costing me about 30 minutes. There was no instruction on the ticket itself. When I asked around, no one seemed to recognize this deal. Finally someone told me to go to guest services, where they awarded me a different coupon that showed the two beers and a hot dog. I presented this at the concession stand and they were confused. Most stands didn’t accept the ticket. Great value once we finally perfected the system. More communication/ instruction would have been helpful.

Boring game, but that happens. Problem was that the tickets I bought were not where I was allowed to sit. Yes you gave me new tix, but you didn’t police that. So it was a mess when you tried to find seats.

I paid top dollar for club seats. Because the cheaper seats above our section did not sell well at $30 , the stadium officials allowed these folks to come sit in the club section. You know the rest of the story. Rude, lewd drunks sitting around families. Many children. Pitiful and no excuse. I’m done.

I sat in the end zone and the view was great. I could see all the action!

The venue was great! Everyone in my group thought NRG Stadium was the best venue we had experienced for a football game. It was clean, well organized! We are looking forward to being back there in 2 years!

Outstanding venue, easy and quick access, employees really nice, really fun environment, will be back

The start of the college football season just awesome

For such a short time to move everything FROM Houston to New Orleans they did a fantastic job!

Form the ticket purchase, food at Dickey Brennan"s, to the great football game I would rate the entire experience an A+

Awesome game! So close to the field. Seats were a little cramped though.

Games should consider coming down on price of food! Too expensive for a a family

Rather the game at Tiger Stadium where it feels like a college game! Love the A/C and facility for comfort.

I had no idea how LSU fans show there support for there team. The fans made me want to move back to the south because it's all about football and I am a big fan. The Superdome seating was awesome because you could sit anywhere in the stadium and see the game nicely. I hope they have another game there in the future because New Orleans was a great host.
