I felt like I was listening to a lounge singer and a few talents. It was advertised as a jazz festival but it was not. A track playing back music for the first two talents and a sax trio playing instrumental covers was not exactly what I was thinking. Young was entertaining and everyone definitely had a talent, but it's not what I would call a "jazz festival"
The performance truly was an experience. The expert musicianship & interaction of the band with the audience made for a night I won’t soon forget. Most of all I appreciate how Terrence intentionally gives back to the community by highlighting local talent. Great stewardship brother. May God bless you!

This was my first experience of Terrence Young, and a great one! From the opening act to DSG to Terrence was amazing!! Can’t wait for the next show!!
My goodness what a great show. My husband and I teamed up with another couple this past Saturday . I had never heard of Terence Young before. I saw an advertisement on Facebook, went out to YouTube to listen to some of his cover songs and purchase my ticket soon after. Very talented young man. I am surprised he did not feel up the Charleston Music Hall I think whoever is promoting him could do a little better because I didn't see a lot of advertisements especially at a place as exclusive as Charleston Music Hall. I will definitely go back to see him when he's in Charleston.
