Tennessee Titans History

The Tennessee Titans franchise was founded in 1960 as the Houston Oilers. In 1997, the team relocated to Tennessee and was eventually renamed the Titans in 1999 to match the spirit of the city and mark a new beginning for the organization. The organization has won more than 400 regular-season and postseason games, captured one conference championship, 11 division titles, clinched 25 playoff appearances and appeared in one Super Bowl championship (Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000).

    This was a great venue. I am a fan of the opposite team, but I was treated with respect. The seats were in the upper level, but the view was fantastic

    If I had it to do over, I would arrive in downtown area to park as it was very cheap ($10-15) and then simply walk across the pedestrian bridge that they closed off from traffic. It was very nice! The atmosphere was good. Game had 20% or more fans from Seattle, but the game was bad as Hawks D forgot to show up in 2nd half.

    Sucked. Done with NFL. Not interested in seeing players express their personal or political views on the field. They are on my dime and my time. Its not what I want to pay to see. Done. No more games will be supported with my dollars this season until this changes.

    Me and my friends stayed the weekend in Nashville and we had a wonderful time. We went there to see the raiders play and we enjoyed the victory!!!The stadium was hot but very nice!!!

    The game was great. The seats were far away, but the action didn't stop and the crowd was competitive, friendly, and fun! My only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 was that the people working there weren't real welcoming. Not rude at all, but not welcoming like other events throughout my life.

    First game of the NFL season. Raiders vs Titans. The stadium was great. Clean restrooms and plenty of them. No standing in lines. Plenty of food/drink vendors. The atmosphere they created was awesome. I would definite attend another event at this stadium.

    I love everything about Nashville in general the nice Stadium and ease of getting in and out is a big help.

    I kinda wish the stadium was bigger but it being cozy helps almost every seat being a pretty good seat. Food is priced like you'd expected for a NFL game but I wish the Papa John's pizza was up to that company's standard. That was lacking.

    The game, the nightlife was amazing definitely going back! I would recommend the ribs from the wild horse salon! Downtown was crazy all around great experience!
