About

Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Tenille Townes released her new project Masquerades April 22 via Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville in partnership with RCA Records. A meditation on duality, self-reflection, and embracing flaws, Masquerades follows her acclaimed debut album The Lemonade Stand, which was named Country Album of the Year at the 50th JUNO Awards.

Townes is a 14-time Canadian Country Music Award Winner (CCMA), and is the reigning CCMA Entertainer of the Year. The two-time ACM Award-winner is also the first female artist in Mediabase Canada history to achieve two No. 1 singles (Music Canada Gold-certified "Jersey On The Wall (I'm Just Asking)," Music Canada Platinum-certified and RIAA Gold-certified "Somebody's Daughter").

Following standout support runs with Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, George Strait and Reba, Townes is headlining shows across the globe in Australia, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ireland, The Netherlands, Germany and the US. Her international touring efforts earned her a nomination for CMA's international achievement award.

A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Townes has been featured by NPR, Variety, Refinery29, Billboard, Rolling Stone, NBC's "TODAY," BBC and more. Additionally, she has raised over $2.5 million for Big Hearts For Big Kids, a non-profit she started when she was 12 years old to benefit a youth shelter in her hometown, which has grown to support organizations such as Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, S.A.F.E. Animal Haven, and the Manna House.

  • What a great show!

by DD on 10/29/24The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Love Tenille Townes and love this venue! It is a nice intimate show where we don’t feel overwhelmed with people, we were able to bring our two young daughters and they had a blast. My only suggestion would be allowing a cash option for drinks/ food!

by JB on 5/13/24House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

This is my second Tenille Townes concert and it was just as amazing as the first. She always puts on a heartfelt and fun concert. She connects with and involves the audience and always takes time to meet us afterward. I would highly recommend not only listening to her music, but going to her concerts. You won’t be disappointed!

  • Tenille Townes @ Ophelia's

by beondrak on 5/7/24Ophelia's Electric Soapbox - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

I was extremely surprised at how good of a musician/performer Tenille Townes is. Her voice is simply amazing and different (in a positive way). I didn't know any of her music before hand, was offered tickets and decided to go. Now anytime she is in town, I plan on going.

  • So much talent!

by Steve on 5/1/24Voodoo Room at the House of Blues San Diego - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

First off the Voodoo Room is awesome to see an artist up close and really feel the performance. Tenille and her band put on a great show. Loads of energy and a great voice. Super nice to say hi after the show too.

  • Best new artist Best venue

by Becky on 4/28/24The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

I have not been to the HOB Anaheim since it relocated to the Garden Walk. I went to see Tenille Townes. All the staff was extremely nice and helpful during the wait to be let in. The doors opened right on time and security was very smooth. The concert was held in The Parish room. WOW, I was not expecting the room to be so small and intimate. It was the perfect venue and the best concert. Tenille Townes is a superb performer and the size of the venue space lent me to feel more connected with her during the show. Tenille even stayed after and took pictures with everyone. It was a magical night. I would recommend any concert that’s being held in The Parish room at HOB Anaheim. You won’t be disappointed.

  • Incredible performer

by Paynes on 5/2/23House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Tenille live multiple times, and she always brings amazing energy and so much emotion to her performances; you can tell she really cares about her fans! Her voice is also even better live than it is recorded. I never miss an opportunity for a Tenille Townes concert.

by Paynes on 11/16/22The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Tenille has a gorgeous voice and amazing stage presence, and I've never seen a performer connect with their audience so genuinely. She put a ton of emotion into every song; this concert was truly a life-changing experience.

  • Country Amanda Marshall!

by Pam on 11/16/22Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Tenille is a ball of fire! An excellent entertainer. She was better than Chris Stapleton live. Absolutely enjoyed every minute. I’m a fan for many years to come!

  • Awesome!!!

by Patrick on 11/14/22LONDON MUSIC HALL - LondonRating: 5 out of 5

It was so much better than I was expecting! She is such a positive person and her music was awesome!! My wife loves her music and i can see why. Nate Haller was also incredible. He really rocked!! All around it was a fantastic concert!!!

  • Fabulous songwriter

by tencentpoet on 11/5/22Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 2 out of 5

Tenille is an incredible songwriter. Her band is adequate, not great. The criticism I have is with the sound reinforement team. There were at least 5 of them and the vocal mix was not good.

  • Venue unorganized

    by Mama8 on 12/7/21Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was fantastic, Tenille and Tim and the glory boys were both fun and amazing to watch! The venue however, was beyond unorganized from the moment we arrived. No one seemed able to answer anyones questions, there was alot of time standing around doing nothing. Arrived at 545 for the VIP experience, which eneded at 645, then stood arouns until 8ish. No chair were availble.

  • Tenille Townes

by Butterfly on 12/7/21Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

I really like the fact that I got to hear and see Tenille Townes the only thing I didn’t like was the fact that for people who are of difficulty standing for long periods there was no chairs. Overall I did enjoy her songs and watching her sing.

  • Tenille was amazing

by NKOTB on 12/7/21Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

The performance by Tenille was amazing. I was less impressed by the venue. The ticket had a 7pm start time but that was the time the doors opened so there was a lineup outside in cold weather. The sound could also be improved i.e. adjustments for some instruments, having things ready to go when needed - Tenille's microphone wasn't on when she started singing!

  • Great performances but very unorganized

    by K on 12/7/21Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 3 out of 5

The doors only opened 30 minutes before the show and once we got in it was very disorganized. We couldn't figure out where to line up for the bar vs to get in to our seats. Show had to start an hour late because it was so delayed getting everyone inside
